To everyone who are now terrified of getting braces removed because it looked painful in the video: the process is a lot more gentle than in this video! The braces aren’t meant to come off the model so it looks a lot more painful than it is irl

i will say, everyone is different. i had mine removed at 14 and having my braces removed was one of the most painful things ive ever experienced and now several years later, i can still remember it clearly and it was slightly traumatic. i think it was because i have a few medical conditions that make my body very sensitive, especially my teeth and the woman who did it wasnt careful at all and yanked them off. if only you had done it 😂, maybe it wouldn’t have been that bad. honestly, i would rather have the abdominal surgery i recently had again instead of braces or braces removal.

This video brought me so much nostalgia, I remember when I got my braces removed at 14 (after a little bit 2 years wearing it) and I still remember the relief when the braces were removed and I saw myself at the 1st time without braces in a long time, it was amazing 🥰 I love your videos, it makes me a lot less anxious about going to the dentist, thank you so much! Recently one of my tooth broke due to bruxism (no evidences of cavities found both by a dentist and in x-ray) and now I'll need a root canal since the root is exposed, I can't wait to get this done bc I'm in a lot of pain bc of that exposed root 😔 After the root canal and reconstruction I'll get a mouth guard (or splint) done to protect my teeth, which btw I would love to see a video about that process if you can! Thank you so much in advance 💕

tbh the cracking during the removals always make me freak out but the sounds after are sooo worth it 😍 idk if you even mind, but once the patient card has faded too much, you could write melissa and doug and ask them to send out a replacement card, they deffo made some sales bcs of u 😅
