Have you ever considered making a Chess ASMR video? I suppose you would have to play for both sides, but seeing all these great card videos made me think that would be an interesting niche ASMR. Chess piece noises, lots of letters and numbers for movements, whispers, etc. Either way, keep up the great work!

Soft 18 doubles vs 2-6, stands vs 7 & 8, hits vs 9, 10, A. If it can't double, it stands. This is from a chart known as "Basic Strategy", which lists the mathematically calculated best decisions for every hand vs dealer upcard. When Jeremiah says "Book says..." in this video, he means it is a basic strategy rule. He put in the extra effort to have the player try to play the optimal and correct decisions.

If you're referring to the soft 18 that he hits at 4:05, book says to hit on 9, 10, A. AFAIK the only strategy mistake here is not doubling the 10 vs a 9 at 2:05
