OK but can someone please explain what is 24D because these claims are getting outrageous. We have 3(+1) dimensions to play with and you can't fit more in than that. Then you've got 360° which really only makes sense in 2D. I could conceive having 24 microphones and calling that 24D but that's not what you've done and at the end of the day its still only playing out of my headphones with 2 channels which can at best provide spatial sound which is only somewhat 3D (your brain does a lot of educated guess work to make 2ch audio feel like 3D), you'd need 4 ears _at least_ to get true 3D audio perception. D here is for directions and not dimensions. Basically there are up to 24 devices recording the sound positioned differently then the sound tracks are mixed in a mixing software to work in stereo output. You will of course only hear sound from left and right but all the tracks will have different levels of intensity on one side and the other giving the illusion of the sound coming further or closer to a certain direction. I hope I was clear enough, english isn't my first language and I'm a bit sleepy at the moment I'm writing this message.

Actually this is physically impossible, this is because for your brain to turn to much within 4 seconds, your head would have to be vibrating at such a high frequency that it would be physically impossible to even do it in the first place, so this is why your statement is incorrect.
