I was born in 95, so I grew up with the prequels and the originals, and I love them both just the same. Yes, there are elements of the prequels I loathe, (I shudder to think of all the Jar Jar merch I had as a kid) but there are also things I like (Ewan MGregor is a great actor in them and Darth Maul became my generation's Boba Fett) And as to Lucas' revisions to the OT, while I understand the artist desire to go back and fix perceived problems, certain changes are inexcusable, like editing out sebastian shaw's face at the end of Jedi, and generally anything that messes with the narrative of the movie (the revised Jabba's palace scene) Also Han didn't shoot first. Greedo never got his gun out of his holster. All you really should say is Han shot. End of story.

Watching it again. This video is perfect. I was trying to go to sleep watching it but the info is so fascinating, I didn't know the stuff about David prowse. The laser disk covers look amazing but it was a strange concept. Using disks the size of records. Record covers always look the best though, they'll never go out of style.

The way you focus on your chosen subject, giving so much attention to something as simple as a LaserDisc, is so very calming. Great subject, very nostalgic for folks my age. In Star Wars there is no "good" or "bad". There is the light side (jedi), and the dark side (sith). The jedis use the Force for protection of the galaxy, and believe in justice and balance. The sith use the Force for their personal advantage, and believe in power and passion. That is the main difference between the two sides of the Force.
