I watched eureka's castle. The main thing I remember is this one time when two characters were going to share a drink, and the bat guy, I think, said he would have the bottom half of the drink and he went first and drank all of it because he said he had to drink the top to get to the bottom, which made zero sense because he was drinking it with a straw.

My school had lots of older books, so I also read stuff like Babysitter's Club, older Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary books, Animorphs, etc as well. People forget that sometimes, it's possible that so-called "2000 kids" got exposed to older things too.
