You’re doing great! Full time Dj/MC here. It started as a hobby 26 years ago, became a part time job for a while, then became my full time career 12 years ago. You are right, there is a very different feeling when your hobby/passion becomes your main source of income. There’s so much that goes into the business side that makes it taste sour sometimes, but never lose hold of that feeling of electricity when you and the audience are reacting to each other! And it’s perfectly okay to be terrified: confidence and nervousness are wonderful complements to each other, and successful entertainers need them both equally 😁

1:11. Yum. 🤤🤪 I've never tried to make a career out of music but I, too, am an artist (Fibre) so I know the struggle. Persevere as all your hard work & dedication to your craft will pay off. Yourself & Frankie are incredibly talented. Frankie has a beautiful voice & you know already that I am a sucker for the violin. Violin & piano are my fave. I was curious & so I looked up the meaning of Kintra. "A small Scottish settlement on a bay, where people live in tune with nature. In Gaelic, the word 'kintra' means 'head of the beach.'" How beautiful! I love it! You have an amazing sense of humour, you always make me laugh, Jozette. 🙂 You should do a KZbin LIVE of you practicing violin, everyone would love it! When you get on stage & you start feeling scared, would it help you to relax if you imagined yourself playing at home? Do you have a ritual that you do backstage before a set to help you relax? Some meditation, breathing exercises, or music through headphones? One of my old housemates was the lead singer in a band & so he used to invite me out to watch them play. Quite often we would have the band, the band's partners, friends, & groupies at our house for the after parties. Thankfully there wasn't much drug use involved but plenty of loud rock music & alcohol. My party days are long gone now so I don't blame you for leaving the after party early. 🤣 I hope 2025 is your year of your music career taking off too, darlin. I'm very proud of you. Thank you for sharing these special moments in your life with us but, yes, please don't leave us as I only just found you! "Nobody listen to techno" gasp! Techno is great! Have you heard of Ummet Ozcan? He has some great techno tracks. Techno is beautiful, especially with violin, the violin does the singing. I think the more big gigs you do the less pressure you will begin to put on yourself. "Perfectly imperfect" naw, I like that. 💓🙏
