I saw a method explained somewhere, and it said you have to ‘mature’ the soaps, so you basically unwrap and score standard bar soap and leave them to dry out for a couple of weeks.

​@@alexperkins8433Usually, the soap that is used are normal soap- between those to bath, from those bars for laundry. They are dry for some time and then they end up hard and crunchy (depending the way they dry them up), but if it's really soap it could be a hassle since it takes longer. For example, Dove Soap is known among the community as one of the hardest to dry and to cut since is so soft. If it's really soft, it's going to be Harder, but aslong it is a Bar of Soap, it will dry eventually. Idk about the whipped consistency one, tho
