Unboxing New Makeup - ASMR

Hahaha yes the eyeshadow shimmer powders packaging is normal I couldn’t stop laughing when you said “the lid is ridiculously huge” lol

Nice vid! A few answers from a fellow asmr & makeup lover :) - the two pink pencils are lip pencils. - I think the shimmer has a big bottom like that so you can store it upside down and see which colour it is. Looks like you can use it on your eyes as well as a highlighter on the tops of your cheekbones and cupids bow (sparingly). - Lip gloss doesn't usually get rubbed into the lips, but sits on top for a sticky wet look. It also doesn't have the same colour payoff that lipstick does. - I don't know anyone who uses those tiny brushes/sponge applicators, but even high end makeup brands often include them in their products! You'd probably be better off using your fingers haha. - The wooden sticks are called orange sticks and are used for cleaning the nails and pushing back the cuticles (like you said). The black one just looks like an orange stick as well (but the wooden ones are generally disposable)

Honestly, it never crossed my mind. When I was growing up my grandfather always talked about women's work and men's work. That somehow identity was derived from actions. Early on I decided that if I was a man doing work, whatever it was, it was automatically men's work. The same goes for women. We should bring our identity to our work or actions, not take our identity from it. We aren't actors in a dress rehearsal. My grandfather, as much as I loved him, was still playing pretend at 70 years old. Thank you for watching all these years.
