Might be one of my favorite videos of all time! Hearing the ambient sounds of people living their lives in cultures we may never experience any other way is amazing! Thank you so much!

My dog, River hates tapping ASMR. That said, she'll have to suffer my tastes, because Villa is exactly what I need!! Also, I ADORE seeing more of Egypt, via this always incredible channel!! I remember in elementary school, then again in 7th grade (chapter 5 in History class) we really did a deep dive learning about the Egyptians, and Egypt!! It was one of my favorite learning moments, and still is 26 years later!! I really am loving the fingernails being raked over the nail polish bottles, makeup, etc. So musical sounding!! Beautiful imagery too, super aesthetically pleasing moments throughout! This is SO cool!! I'm certainty geeking out over the differences of American and Egyptian store/shop items, their beautiful decor, the dress of the people, language, etc!! Thanks for letting us live vicariously through you, Villa!! River has actually NOT complained once during this video, and it's almost over!! That's rare!! Maybe she's feeling the cultural boost, lol. Take Care, Amanda H.

@@Indigo00eyez I usually do too, but mine broke, and I can't find any good ones laying around. Guess I will have to buy a new one soon. She really did well that night, so I kept it playing. She IS the boss after all, lol!! Take Care, Amanda

It's so nice to hear & see a mall so alive...many of our malls in the USA are dying out.(amazon)....thanks V...very relaxing...
@MelissaHernandez-zj5mw3 жыл бұрын
@@sweetembrace6706 ^ This here! Plus, amazon is offering a service that malls can't, which is essentially the convenience of having (basically) unlimited product, all without having to even leave your house. Can't imagine how a mall could beat those, lol.

I'm always curious as to how other people react when they see you tapping and scratching random stuff. They must be so confused.

The mall info kiosk at the beginning is in English, but the storefronts names are in Arabic. I’ve noticed an interesting blend of English and Arabic on some of the packaging for things when you tap at the apt too. I know the official language is Modern Arabic, actual most common spoken is Egyptian Arabic….so how does usage of written English fit in? Would love to hear about this in a spoken vid, but maybe you have already and I missed it (I can’t hear the spoken parts well when it’s not voiceover….I know some people enjoy those videos and I’m not complaining….I just miss info shared in them).
I have mixed feelings about the new nails, but nevertheless, the video is absolutely amazing, as always! :-) Thank you for showing us around Egypt! 💝💖

I noticed this as well in a previous video. According to the replies I got, many of the big chain stores that are worldwide have mainly English signage. I found it interesting.
@grav6y4rd3 жыл бұрын
@@NessRawks I swear it's bc English is worldwide using language. The most amount of people know this language so it is just convenient, especially the pronounsing and writing of some languages is absolutly different from English
