First off, love this entire thing! Secondly, I always was confused about the knight bus because it seems to be a staple for the Wizarding community (I mean it pops up in Surrey and then ends in London that's no joke). They're also familiar with steam engine for Hogwarts but Mr. W and his family are shocked about cars and his tampering is considered illegal. I also don't think we ever hear any non-muggleborn talk about them? A bus is just a bigger version of the car so how come magic folk in this universe don't have family cars that are charmed in various ways like the knight bus? Especially for people with kids it just always seemed like a glaring hole that never made sense. So if any of y'all can lmk your thoughts, I'm all ears 😅

i think its a case of plot convenience haha but yeah, they did have ministry "cars" in the books i remember. i guess if its "official" its alright, but people cant enchant muggle artefacts freely, cause then its a case for Arthur's department to investigate haha
