Check out Yuasa's works (I highly recommend The Tatami Galaxy for starters) as his animation style isn't your conventional anime. It's rather very free flow and exaggerated to an extent.

Its shows like this that need to be awarded for going outside the lines and being dissimilar and strange. The expressions are incredible always, and convey such an incredible amount of time comedic timing, creativity, and humor in of itself. This and Nichijou are some of the best things ive seen from anime.

Hell, the weird style is even more emphasized in the manga, once it's stripped of color and animation.
