Judging by the ASPCA's excrutiatingly long 2 minute commercials this organization was prioritizing advertising over animal welfare. If the ASPCA CEO is making over $800K annually their priorities are WAY out of wack. I want to help animals not CEO's.

ASPCA needs to restructure their organization and needs to be transparent on how those donations are spent. Oh yes, and they also need to give that CEO a major pay-cut.

I didn't have a very good experience with one ASPCA facility. I was about to become homeless and needed to give up my cat. Brought her to a local facility and was turned down because she was an older cat. The man working there was terribly rude and actually cruel to me. He was furious I was trying to get help for my cat and could not have cared less that I was about to become homeless. When your whole world is turning upside down, you do the best you can. That man treated me like I was such a bother to him.

I myself, as a true animal lover who deeply cares about those in need of help, am somewhat appalled at this. 20 bucks a month x 12 is $240. If ASPCA hits their goal of 3000 *_new_* donors that would be close to three quarters of a million dollars. Wow. They are non-profit?

This is so hard for me to decide to continue to donate or not. Some of the money goes toward helping the animals. If I stop donating I will not be helping the animals at all. That is not good for me. I will pray that the animals receive the help they are promised by the ASPCA.

It’s also good to help HERD of Africa that rescue orphaned elephants. They are fabulous and have a channel on you tube to show the care they provide. You can also Give to your local Humane Society.

I don't donate to any charities.....i have 6 rescued dogs.....no funding, donations of any kind.....i know some folks that have ongoing GFM accounts for their pets....i decided to rescue dogs for pets....give them a forever home, a pack, security of a fenced yard, and food & fresh water for dogs with rough histories of abandonment, fear, loneliness, starvation, cruelty......WE ARE FAMILY.....

They should face criticism and lawsuits for their illegal denial of people adopting their dogs despite all the requirements. Yes, I do know this for a fact because my parents were looking to adopt a dog with them. My parents met all the requirements according to everything that they asked. They just up and said my parents don't meet the requirements despite those requirements being met. If you truly care about a dog, don't go to this organization. There are plenty of organizations that actually care about the dogs' well-being since they don't really. I don't know what their reasoning for having these ads and doing this is, but there must be actually an ulterior motive. I really see them in a different light, and that's not a light at all it's just a dark and evil thing. I see them as a truly evil and corrupt organization.
