Hi Dr. What's narrow range of boiling T, is there a figure? How do l know if vapour phase association?

Narrow range of boiling T is in the eye of the beholder. 10 - 15oC may be about right, but you may be willing to accept a larger range. Sorry! I don't have a clear rule for this one! Vapor phase association basically means that you have hydrogen bonding happening in the gas. This would typically be expected when you have alcohols and aldehydes, for instance.
