What if it's in the walls of the entire house. What is your suggestion

There is always a reason that mold develops and flourishes in our buildings. If someone has an issue in all of their walls, that usually is caused by the use of wet wood structure that was not allowed to dry enough before it was covered with finish materials. Know that 'dry' is a measurement. So any builder not using a pin type moisture meter to check framing before proceeding on project finishes is taking a risk. In some climates, that's a very big risk!

Mold in all of the walls would be a very difficult problem to remediate and remove. For most people, that would be a reason to move. I have consulted on legal cases where the builder was being held liable. I recommend people focus on their health as the most important priority. Disclose and move on. Since water that causes mold can also lead to decay in buildings, this can be considered a structural defect condition.

It depends largely on what "it" is, and if there is a dampness issue or wetness issue will determine what types of Mold might be present.

@@livingstones1196 I’m not aware of any mold or decay fungus issue that exists without moisture or water. There hasn’t been enough research on all possible species of mold to know which species might be harmless and which are toxic. We do know that many species are toxic to be exposed to. We also know there are many more species of mold than have been identified and studied.
