This week is probably the hardest and most busiest week in Asphalt 8 I have ever played! I had to finish Fenyr Supersport R&D which was crazy hard with Lab 4, Mazda RX8 SE R&D which was unnecessarily long , get the 100 tokens in Multiplayer, and start crunching through Aston Martin One-77 Enduro Double Down, upgrade the Rezvani Beast Alpha for Championship while farming and completing Season 1 and 2 in Asphalt 9!

The game looks great on my PC but I don't find it nearly as fun to play as a8 (even my laptop has a 1050 and can handle the max graphics). Maybe that will change as I get better cars/unlock more stuff but the whole drive, double tap S till shockwave repeat thing to beat every race got boring pretty quick. I'm only in season 2 but found the lack of need to drift at all pretty disappointing as well. And I really dislike the fuel system though its not as bad as extreme due to the leveling up when you first start. I'll keep playing because games 4 lyfe but hopefully a8 will stick around for a good long time.

I think. Personally. You are being to harsh to this game. The fuel system isnt that bad and although you can't refilll while playing, it auto refills if you are gone for a while (aka sleep) Blueprints are soooo much and i mean soooooooo much easier to collect. I said the same things about the gameplay/physics at the start but after I got used to it, it really was much more fun. I think I see what GameLoft is getting at with this new installment and I think asphalt 8 fans should look at it differently. That is MY OPINION. Edit: I forgot to mention the 360 and the nitro times. You can't flat spin anymore , you have to 360 of a ramp or a jump. Nitro efficiency/times is just something you get used to as you beat the first few squares/seasons (idk what you call them). I think you should play this game a bit more and try going at it from a more positive view. The Graphics thing is pretty weird and i think was a problem for android on Asphalt 8.

Honestly this game is not optimized for Windows. On Android, even with SD 636, you can get high graphic settings, but somehow there is no option to turn anti-aliasing on (like PUBG Mobile, which doesn't care your phone specs but still give you the option no matter what) anywhere. This is important because the cars will look pixelated, either that or Gameloft thinks that SD 636 can't handle 4x MSAA.

This game is just like...horrible! When you steer or drift the car, your speed drops a lot. When you hit the wall, your speed also drops, more than in Asphalt 8. When you go up onto high altitude places, or rocky places, your speed also drops, even though you're using nitro. The accelerations of the cars are so slow, unlike in Asphalt 8. In Asphalt 8, your speed never drops unless you drift or hit something. In Asphalt 9, your speed drops everywhere. There's no difference between Asphalt 9 and Asphalt Xtreme. Probably Asphalt 9 is just the supercar version of Asphalt Xtreme. In Asphalt 9, all supercars become trucks and SUVs, just like in Asphalt Xtreme. If you can't control well, you'll lose anytime. This game is terrible! Is this the best arcade racing game, or the worst arcade racing game?

Starfire Storm I'm the opposite, I liked the fast paced action of Asphalt 8, Asphalt 9 just feels clunky and is too slow paced for me.

I like both games for different reasons, the maps in A9 are miles better than the ones in A8 because the slow paced gameplay lets them to be more hectic maps, just the Himalaya map is miles better than every A8 map combined. A map like that in A8 wouldn't work, the closest thing A8 has to an A9 map is The Great Wall and Munich map and those aren't particularly good maps, Patagonia could work in A9, just rework it a bit and you have a decent map for A9. I like the fast pace of A8, but the games relies too much on it, the slowest D class cars are some of the most boring gameplay ever, specially in maps like Azure Coast, the game didn't became entertaining to me until I bought the faster cars of the game. In A9 I had fun since the very first race in that slowass Mitsubishi Evo.
