For anyone coming across this video, be sure to have a strategy for your defending cars. You can only use a car once in defense mode. Unlike the attack phase where you can use a car more than once. You need to balance what you can afford to lock up in defense against what you may need to attack. I have been burned a couple of times by finding that a car I used for defense was the best car to use to attack a street (and the opponent used it!).

What is the strategy for selecting streets / avenues? Beyond whether you know the map well, how do you decide which circles to defend?

This depends on your club situation, what skill level your members have and what garage level they have. Put your strongest players on the first INTERSECTIONS first and then on the starting streets of each lane. Put the relatively weak players behind those intersections which are defended hy your strong players. Players with good garage should take the streets on the end which has S class cars so that you can secure those points as well.

Do you know about diversity points levels? Hiw many different cars we have to assign to get level 2.3 etc... and how many points we got in that way?

I think it's a fixed factor at this moment. I haven't seen it at any other level. I'll try to ask the team but my guess is that's it's something for future, like few other things in this format.

Hi - wondering if you can do a video or comment on the "new" Clash format (as of May 2023). Don't get the strategic approach with the limited garage format. Seems like whoever has the best garage would win regardless of skill? Thanks in advance...

What does the requirement called "per street type" mean? It's usually the largest points requirement, but I have NO idea what it means, and I don't see GL explaining it anywhere. Thanks.

It's just a general term since every streets is a different map and location. So depending on the track length and importance, it's given a value.

It was confusing, because after I'd run a practice lap, it would show that I was meeting the other requirements, like having the right car brand, or class, or number of stars, etc. Those requirements would be lit up. But the "per street type" icon wasn't lighting up. However, once I ran an official lap, THEN it finally lit up.

I have a question about this current (Dec 28) Clash. Is it worth while to try for extra points on streets that give points for, say using a 3 star car or using C class cars, when you can use either C or B class? I don't get it. If I use a C class car to get extra points but the street can be attacked by B class cars - what's the use of getting those points when the faster class car will win the attack race? (I hope this makes sense). Thanks...

Clash is about strategizing whole club. So you gotta do both things. In starting streets, your top players should be playing and regardless of conditions, they should put their best lap times. while relatively weak players can go in further streets and they can try to score points for conditions.

@@NoxFury so you are saying that the top players should set best times on the lower numbered streets and ignore the extra points, while the less experienced players should try for extra points based on conditions on the higher number streets?

@@mlo6459 Yes. Basically, condition points should not be a priority. A good defense should be the strategy because there is no point of scoring extra points if your rivals can win that street from you just because you used an inferior car for sake of conditions points.

@@NoxFury That's exactly what I wondered - the extra points for using a lower class car don't make sense - UNLESS - if it's the case that if you win an attack race on that street - you only get the base points and not the extras - is that how it works? Say the base is 200 and there are 50 points for conditions. If you win the attack with a car that doesn't meet conditions - do you only get the 200? (sorry - but I'm a nerd about this stuff).

This can happen sometimes. Keeping your device updated, all apps and the system. You can also try to clear your cache+data (but before you must be logged in with gmail or facebook to secure your game progress)
