About this Paving Project:
This is a video of a complete asphalt overlay project performed in Long Beach, California.
It shows all phases of the project, including the asphalt removals of the worst areas, the 2" asphalt overlay, as well as the temp striping, seal coating, and permanent striping. The seal coating was actually performed 90 days after the overlay was done.

How come you guys painted the lines and numbers 2 times?

Mike....thats a great question. The reason for painting the lines twice is because after the asphalt is installed it needs to be sealcoated to protect it. That seal shouldn't be applied until the asphalt is fully cured, and the curing process takes apx. 90 days. So, to keep the parking lot functional during that time period, we paint the lines and stencils. Once after paving, then again after the sealcoating application.
