Asphalt Plant Video Sedalia, CO Next to the UP/BNSF Joint Line

This busy asphalt plant is located just to the North of Sedalia, Colorado and about 25 miles South of Denver. It is situated between the well used dual tracks of the UP/BNSF Joint Line but is not serviced by the railroad. It does not have spur despite the requirements for the large quantities of aggregates and supplies which are all delivered by truck. An interesting subject for a model railroad.

The closest asphalt plant to me is actually situated on the property of a stone quarry, so the gravel they use comes directly from the quarry. All the asphalt is also trucked in. A different company runs the plant though..
