Yeah, but if you want to hear her singing it somberly you can listen to her on "The First Take". Cö Shu Nie, the singer, has done a piano version on The First Take (a Japanese KZbin Channel where the singers perform in a single take) , and that version really takes it to a whole other level.

Maybe I'll start writing before the year ends but it'll be most probably in English until I've gotten to a good Japanese level (both writing and speaking, reading Kanji goes included) to start translating to Japanese (if I have the time to) I can imagine myself trying to get a manga before even finishing a volume xD, BUT before I get to that point, I should take things slowly and do it the best I can

Unravel is great at explaining how my depression but I can't help but get emotional when I read the lyrics. I love Kaneki since I was in college like he was when I started the manga and I also was abused by my parents. Even when I get low Asphyxia is the song that best describes how it feels to keep trying. The line about moving on no matter how much your heart has been broken and people expect you to come to a disappointing end hits home. So does the line about hoping the pain you were given could be a type of love. Its so hard to like yourself when all you've been taught is to recognize your faults and failure. When it first ended I hated Re; I thought it was unrealistic for someone who went through all that to be happy and find a wife and make a family. I think I was sad because I stopped relating to Kaneki because he moved past his pain and found happiness. It's been years and I keep going between Unravel and Asphyxia when I feel down about life. I honestly doubt my life will end in such a happy way but seeing Kaneki happy at the end feels good still. He got to see how love should feel. I wish the anime was redone to match the manga.
