ASPIRE 2023 || A Path to a Bright Future! || Building a Legacy, Embracing the Future

ASPIRE 2023, a comprehensive placement drive organized by ASAP Kerala Skill Demand Aggregator Business Unit, took place on July 10th, 2023, at the ASAP Community Skill Park in Kazhakkoottam, Trivandrum. The event aimed to connect job seekers with potential employers and provide valuable placement opportunities for fresh graduates, experienced professionals, and individuals with career breaks from various fields.
The placement drive ASPIRE 2023 was inaugurated by Dr R. Bindu, the Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education Social Justice of Kerala, along with other dignitaries. Their presence added prestige and significance to the event. The event was presided over by Shri. Kadakampalli Surendran, Hon’ble MLA, Kazhakootam Constituency. Dr Usha Titus, CMD, ASAP Kerala welcomed everyone to the programme, both on and off the dias. Shri. M Binu, Councillor, Chanthavila Ward, felicitated the gathering. Shri. Richard Antony, Director EY Global Delivery Services; Shri. Selestin K Thomas, GM, InfoSecurity Digital Technologies IT Infra, Nissan Digital India; Shri. P Ganesh, MD, Glass Glazing Systems Private Limited and the Former Chairman, CII Kerala; Shri. Badrinath Lingaraju, Founder CEO, Ethnus also addressed the audience. Shri. Laiju I P, Head - Placement Division, ASAP Kerala thanked everyone for their participation at the event.
The target audience for ASPIRE 2023 comprised final-year students of B.Tech/M. Tech, B.Com/M.Com, MCA, BBA/MBA, B.Sc./M.Sc., ITI, diploma holders, graduates, and individuals who have received industry-relevant skill training through ASAP Kerala. The event aimed to provide equal opportunities for candidates from diverse backgrounds
The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with a total of 1318 registrations received. Among the registered participants, 630 attended the event on the day.
A total of 31 companies actively participated in ASPIRE 2023, offering diverse job opportunities across various sectors. This allowed job seekers to connect with prominent industry leaders and explore potential career prospects.
Out of the 630 attendees, 156 candidates were shortlisted by the participating companies for further evaluation.
A total of 12 conditional offer letters were extended to shortlisted candidates. The finalization of these offers is subject to background verification, medical examination, proof of eligibility, and reference checks.
As of 31 July 2021, 51 candidates have successfully secured placements through ASPIRE 2023.
