I used to own a Ford Ikon 1.6 Petrol ZXi. Used it as much as I can until Ford Stopped the spare parts. To be precise, 12 Years. Didn't wanna give it away. Why? Simply coz the 1.6 engine was such a fun to drive. Then, the Ford service. Excellent and on-time service. Never had any issues. Last but not the least, the build. I stand as a testimony to the Ford super strong build. Two accidents with the Ikon and no major damages at all. Not like the Maruti dabba. Now, I wanted to upgrade on similar lines. After much thought and various test drives, I finally zeroed in on Ford again. Which car? Ford Aspire 1.5 Diesel Blu Edition. Trust me, practically, I literally go everywhere in my Aspire now. Already done 18K Kms. Just shut your eyes and buy this car.

Oh and one more thing. Only people who actually love their car for it's engine should buy this Aspire. Other whose first question is, "Kitna deti hai?" can stay away. Though, Aspire gives you excellent city and highway mileage. And of course, the too class Ford build and safety.

In petrol manual amaze is best.. In diesel both perform neck to neck.. But amaze is more practical.. Means it gives space and comfort luxurious feel... Which you can't get after market...
