Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Assesses Flood Damage In Dibrugarh | 52 Lives Lost, 21 Lakh+ Affected

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inspected flood-affected areas in Dibrugarh on July 5. The floods have claimed 52 lives and affected around 21.13 lakh people in 29 districts. Over 3.86 lakh people are sheltered in 515 relief camps and distribution centers across 24 districts. Sarma noted that while the situation has improved, areas with embankment breaches remain critical.
