In the year 1966/67 Gouhati was a small town. Now it became a big modern city. Very nice. I also enjoy the places Fancy Bazer, Pan Bazer, Chand Mari, Cotton College, Digli Pukuri etc. from your video. But the present Brahmaputra river shocked me. It is now only a skeleton of that mighty river which is the heart of Assam as well as the north-east. I spent so many hours on the bank of that river.

Chandmari is a place where british india times, the soldiers used to practice shooting. It was there in many towns where british rule time army camps were there. Later, as the towns expanded, these chandmari places become normal residential places / part of the town. For example, like guwahati, the north Bihar town of Motihari (famous for "Nilaha" agitation by Gandhi ji, his first agitation in India) also has place named chandmari which is very much the part of town now
