Because the people of Kanubari , Khonsa , etc can visit Itanagar (The capital) via this bridge . Travel time has been reduced dramatically. Also , the bridge is the symbol of love and affection between the People of Arunachal pradesh and Assam. There is already a deep bond of love and affection between the neighboring brothers , ..... this bridge will enhance that to a very high level, ..... no doubt on that.

Stupid analysis, target date was 2009(including the window period no rain season December to May to carry out the work), should have completed with in 1700 crores, , the delay is attributed to reclaiming the river bed to reduce the bridge length from 10 Km to 4.94 km. Modi has undertaken 100 irrigation projects on priority that were 15 years old yet slipped schedule, credit must go to Modis project management skills.
