Tarikh Episode 353
Tarikh is a daily program in which we present you with incidents and stories of noteworthy persons of Indian History in Hindi. In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil, On the occasion of Armed corps flag day, talks about the battle of Imphal and Kohima and the story of badluram ka badan. Badluram ka badan is the marching song of Assam Regiment. Badluram was a soldier who fought in the second world war. And after his death the regiment fought on his After Badluram's death, the quartermaster did not remove his name from the rations roster and the company continued to draw rations in Badluram's name. This extra ration helped the company survive through a siege when Japanese troops surrounded them during the Battle of Kohima and supplies were cut. Watch the complete video to know more.

The soldier did his own work bravely, we feel proud of that. But the soldier was fighting for the British. The subsequent victory of the British troops made it difficult for the Azad army, and the delay in bringing freedom to our country benefited the British.

@@himalsingh2003 How can we call those Indians who were detained in that place unworthy because they did not fight during the war? Before the information began, an agreement was reached between the British office and Japan that all Indian and Australian troops stationed there would render appropriate assistance to the Japanese troops. So later when Azad Hind Fauz fought against the British then all these war criminals or soldiers who took action against British soldiers in India were arrested after World War II. When they were challenged in court, the Indian lawyers said that the British government itself had given those soldiers as a gift to Japan, so Japan decided how to use them. Therefore, it is not possible to punish the Indian soldiers against the British government by doing all these things. If we call the soldiers who fought for the freedom of India cowards And we call those who were fighting with the British against Indian independence as heroes, is this condoning the slavery mentality of the British!! During the Second World War, the British took rice, wheat and other food grains from Bengal and India for the British soldiers, as a result of which a terrible famine spread in India, as a result of which many lakhs of people died in Bengal. We have made those people heroes. No Indian has ever seen such a famine in India because of the British Prime Minister Western Churchill. What Hitler was doing to the Jews during World War II, Western Churchill did the same to the British Prime Minister to the Indians.

@@sunandas5664 soldiers who joined british indian army are also freedom fighters, you don`t know because your family had not contributed anything to independence. you are calling lakhs of soldiers of which thousands are under 18 who sacrificed their lives gassed in trenches or martyred for the independence. My family had suffered this , people joined british indian army because your freedom fighters like gandhi , nehru, patel and all those popular names in history called for the youths to join army . They deceived youths by faking them of their agreement of idependence after winning WW1. Those historical fools got fooled by britishers at the costs of lakh soldiers.

Some would say, the soldier "Badluram" from British army (Assam regiment) fought in 2nd world war against Japs which was also an alley of Azad Hind Fauz. so why would we care about him so much? Point is, history has its own value, it can't be always reasoned with logics...so if someone lectures you about coming out of colonial mindset or changing the street name or city name, explain him this.

But that Japanese troops were under the leadership of our hero Subash chandra bose i think...they were not Japanese i think... Subash came to remove brithis troops..but unfortunately our heroes fought esch other..its just my thoughts it was not right may be.. actually troops of subash chandra bose were also entered through Myanmar if this Assam regiment was with subash chandra bose it would take only 2 days to make independent India...jai assam regiment❤
