Sir,all tribal and non-tribal people of Assam are Assamese .but, Assamese tribes are also a special identities that they are bodo, rabha ,ahom ,karbi, dimasa, tiwa Mising, chutiya,Sonowal kachari etc

This logic is created by whom? Assamese Chauvinist? When bordoloi and ULFA themselves said and recognized the people of NC hills (karbi anglong and dima hasao) as non-assamese saying that no harm or effect nor their operations will operate from dima hasao. That was their official statement. Bordoloi was very sympathetic to the marginalized indigenous non-assamese communities, so he gave special status to NC hills, which is putting them under their area in the 6th schedule of the Indian Constitution, by this no Assamese nor any other Indian can settle or buy land in dima hasao and karbi anglong (NC hills), after 1950s

Assamese people should realize that there are non-assamese indigenous tribes in here. We are not Assamese and imposing Assamese language in Dima Hasao is like imposing hindi on Assam and other North eastern states. Assamese is not our language, we don't know Assamese because this is non-assamese area, the majority are non-assamese tribals. In nogaon and cachar they speak Assamese and bengali, is because those areas are Assamese and bengali dominated.

I think all tribal and non-tribal people of Assam are Assamese .but, Assamese tribes are also a special identities that they are bodo, rabha ,ahom ,karbi, dimasa, tiwa Mising, chutiya,Sonowal kachari etc And non-tribal Assamese are sharma ,das kalita, bhuyan, baruah etc

@@himachoudhary991 no, there are in fact Assamese tribes and non-assamese tribes as well!!! So clutching all residents of Assam as Assamese is wrong when there are both Assamese and non-assamese tribe. The Assamese tribes are moran, sonowal, deori, mishing, tiwa. They identify as Axomiya(assam) and historical have also under axom kingdom (Assam), so I'm guessing this is where the Assamese nationality and feeling of oneness comes from. Whereas the non-assamese tribes are karbi, dimasa, kuki, zeme, rongmei, gangte, khelma, khasi, rangkhol etc. who were brought under British subjugation who merged this areas with to Assam province of British Empire for their administration. Historically they aren't part of axom(Assam) and feel the identity and language and culture as alien and very different for them.(as also in law of the constitution, no other Indian can buy land in that area, except for people of the twin districts)
