Yeah, last overall good AC was Black Flag, last good gameplay was Unity. After that it was level inflation stat check clicker with ruined story.

@@FutayuriShironeko syndicate was fine except that they hinder you from jumping of buildings that are to high but storywise it was okay

@rya_belladonna Syndicate was forcing character progression behind perks which were getting you levels and levels gated the weapons. It was 3 layers of fucked and forced character progression that was mandatory because of the artificial enemy scaling making your level 5 weapons completely useless with level 7+ enemies. And even combat was just button mashing since there were no actual combos or variety to them with multi weapons.

@rya_belladonna There was no progression in Syndicate like there were in other games. No different combos, no weapon variety, just bigger number that is forced.

I was able to finish all of the AC games on my switch not too long ago, definitely best to take a break before tackling AC3. Out of all the AC games from the 6th gen of consoles, AC3 feels so much of a downgrade compared to the Ezio trilogy.
