You know, there actually IS a parkour-down in the Colonial saga games. You have to basically hold the run button + the B or Circle button, or whatever substitutes for it. The character will actually sorta descend a bit more precisely instead of Leaping crazy. Also, about Conno's mom's voice-actress; she's actually a Native-American actress, and even shares her first name with the character. there's a chance they named the character after her, since her name is 'Kanieh:tiio Horn'. Actor Noah Watts also has some Native American ancestry somewhere in his heritage.

The voice acting for Desmond's father was done by John de Lancie; he's most famous for playing the character of Q in Star Trek, The Next Generation and also appears in Voyager, DS9 and Picard; he was also a recurring character in Stargate SG-1 and played in a shortlive series named Legend alongside Richard Dean Anderson (the original MacGyver and also a main character in Stargate SG-1) as a crazy inventor. I remember the first time playing AC3, that twist with Haytham was insane! I think the thing i like most about AC3 is blurring that black and white image of assassins vs templars into more of a grey. Those talks connor has with Haytham, showing that there isn't one good side and one bad side, that both sides are flawed in their own ways. I appreciate those moments with belloq in unity and the whole situation of rogue as well for the same reasons. Good and bad people on both sides.

I was one of the people that was surprised from the twist, i bought a bunch of ac games at the same time and didnt even see the cover art for 3 and just immediately pressed play. I was very shocked at the twist at first because I really started liking Haytham, and didn't really enjoy playing as Connor at first. This made me love the intro to the game though, so I didn't really understand why people hated it's length, but after realizing most people knew about it I can see why some found it annoying to play as Haytham that much before Connor, I still love it though.

If you want to know it's because of a book : The Hero with a Thousand Faces write by Joseph Campbell about a archetipal and universal style of narration. It really inspired GL to write Star Wars (he said it) and it might inspired AC3 writers. So everyone know now !
