English Man i know but the point I’m making is that the meaning of a remastered is meant to refine the mechanics to match the current games (maybe not combat) but the free running in ac3r is still as stiff as before, horse riding are as well which they definitely should’ve made it to match origins/odyssey and EVERY SINGLE BUG is still in the game since the original! @Xbox One I think you getting Mohawk crossed with Tomahawk. They used knives when scalping people, and when he says Mohawks, he means the Mohawk people. Little history lesson here if you care to learn something interesting about scalping. @Jun Malabanan is right. In truth, most first nations cultures didn't do the whole scalping thing. We only really started doing it after the Europeans put an active bounty on all first nations people that could be claimed by handing in scalps to an official. So we did it as more of an ironic justice for what was done to us. Another fun fact, the Europeans rarely cared enough to kill the person before scalping them, whereas the first nations people were a little more kind in that regard. That's when you realize that it was the first nations people who were labeled as savages. Most history sources don't tell you this though.

Connor's story is one of the best in the franchise. It isn't afraid to show how dirty natives were treated as they desperately attempted to defend their home. Connor is torn in multiple directions throughout the game and it adds depth to his character that not alot of people in my area understood at the time. There was a lot of hate for this game because our boy Desmond dies (which till this day, I believe was a dumb ass move) and a misconception that Connor shows no emotion. But there is plenty of emotion shown throughout this character and his drive for revenge blinded him at times. And lets talk about the soundtrack, many say Ezio's family is the best. To clarify how this works, this is usually the result of the creative heads coming together with their ideas of what they envision the final product looking like. Almost all games have these internally as a source for the rest of the team to try and replicate in a live environment, eventually leading to the game at launch.

Honestly, the main thing from this that I wished was in the final game was having the frontier being this dense. The parkour opportunities is far more open in this. I love the tree top running in AC3, and it's most likely due to engine limitations, but wished free running in the Frontier wasn't so linear.

This *wasn't* Haytham. Back when this was their Concept, "Kenway Story" didn't exist. This was just a guy we'd meet earlier in the game (through Story) - one of our Allies. Later, when they got the Kenway idea, this guy became Base for Haytham, and they changed this Assassin into "Connor Kenway".

But the whole system looks fantastic and I would LOVE this I like the whole slomotion stuff and the weapon wheel and the whole camera views.
