They're a champion/warrior costume. You need a lot of abstergo credits or u can buy the orange credits thing. You can find them in the abstergo store in the multiplayer menu. Hope this helps. :)

no problem, and as to how i spot people i'm a master of the assassinate compass so sometimes i can tell just by that, but also there's certain paths civilians walk too and certain ways they walk

you need to win the lock and become their pursuer and if you don't it will turn red and say pursuer exposed, with practice you will be able to somewhat predict if you're going to win or not if you don't need to win you'll need to use an ability to try and get a stun off on them, like smoke bomb, or throwing knives, etc

You need to buy them from the "costume" menu, but some costumes (like the hooded shadow one) are available for a limited time and others (like the bear cowl one for the...bear) are available in the abstergo store under "champion packs" (but cost like 20k abstergo credits, so they are basically there to make you waste your real money aka buying erudito credits.

I want to ask this 1 question. When you are unlocking and relocking is that because in assassinate that gives you the "target" by locking on last so you can get the quick stun and then kill? Or is there something I am missing? I have only played a little assassinate so far and im learning all i can.

It's mostly knowing how to read the compass and how players move as opposed to NPCs.. takes a lot of practice

thats only for the Lady Maverick courtesan costume and the Preacher deacon costume. The costumes that he is talking about appear on the outfits menu every so often for 5000 abstergo credits

I only played Assassinate twice in ACR and my highest score was like a 4/5k or something, but than today I was playing some Deathmatch in AC3, but after the first game some people voted for Assassinate; I hadn't played any AC3 Assassinate so I was like sure why not. But than it turned out that I was playing actually quite well, so I ended with a 12k and I was really really happy with that, I've never scored that high in Assassinate in any AC game!!!

Btw what do you think of the knife aiming property. I think its so weird that you can throw your knife with a click, and theres still an aim function. If you accidentally press [Y] a bit to long it will bug out and there will be no throw.

Hey Rainin.. Great video mate. Learn quite a lot from your channel. It took me awhile to get better in assassinate. Though i havent reached 10K in most of my matches, but able to be in 2nd to 3rd place with a good score against high level players. :) Thanks for the tips.

Good luck doesn't seem to occur anymore. It's replaced by either gun or lag. I was curious to know if you think gun is becoming an even more popular ability than sb. Every ASA session has at least 2 gunners in it nowadays. If you're going for a score like this, it pretty much ruins it.

so is it a good idea to always go for a baited stun by locking on them by making yourself obvious then UNLOCKING once they expose you to switch the pursuer/target foodchain, knife stun or smoke bomb then stun and kill focus?

If you lock first, you are the pursuer, but if they expose you after that, and you unlock and relock, they are the pursuer and you expose them. This is called a lock war if two good players are doing it. If you see really competitive play there will be lots of locking and unlocking. In this video im facing newer players so i just unlock and relock so i can stun them by making them my pursuer.

The reason i said maybe it was a player that left and turned into an NPC is i've seen that happen on ACR. Sometimes that will make civilians glitch out like that.. but yeah i know the bear was in my LoS in the same direct line as the glitched NPC. He seemed too far away for a full ring though.. line of sight in this game is weird at times.

Practice and experience is what it comes down to.. we've played the game a long time so we're good at spotting if its an NPC or a real person. :)

Hey wanna ask something here, do i need to keep my distance from my pursuers while doing the drop stun when they leap towards me? for me sometimes it just screws with me and let my pursuer initiate their kill before they even touch the freakin floor.

AC3 has less glitches then ACR but they are much more sverere. The [X] glitch which wont let you kill or stun someone (happens way to often). The wall glitch that wont let you climp/drop. These 2 things is like the whole game, and should not have bugs.

at 7:41 the problem was that when he jumped into the haybale the game removed your lock so you killed the closest npc around you when you were smashing X, I know this video is old and you probably figured it out just wanted to leave this out for anyone else watching this

If you want the best score possible.. baiting is a good tactic to get a high score. If you're against good players baiting won't do as much for you.

The player who turned into a "civilian" was actually a computer from the beginning. The programming became a bit off, that's all. Don't worry, it's not common.

Yeah after you reminded me that shield might help and i switched to that, it wen't better. I'm still getting better at timing it to block shots, but it's damn satisfying when you do it.

However, I'm having a hard time dealing with people who know exactly where im at when I spawn, doing impossible things like leaping through walls or jumping over buildings in a single bound for an ariel kill, or turning all my kills into contested kills even though theres no way they could've contested it.

The instance where the Night Stalker turned into a civilian happens a lot in the PSN. It's either a persona turns into a civilian or it disappears right in front of you. My question is why was the score invalid?

How do you know which one to go for? i hate it when the compass just turns to a circle, i don't know where they are. I don't get it i can't find them in a big crowd but someone runs up behind me and definitely knows its me straight away.

Go to Abstergo Store and choose Champion Packs. There you can buy, either with regular points or Erudito, pack for different characters. If you want to buy with regular it costs 20 000 abstergopoints. so it'll take a while ;)

How do you tell the difference between an NPC and a person? I'm really confused..

Komi - I know this is a year old, but there are a variety of tactics to doing this. In general, the NPC have a specific way of moving around the map. Usually they perform actions that a real player can’t perform when they touch their controller or are out of a blend group, such as stretching their arms. If a player is hidden in a Blend group, use the lock slide technique. Basically, press the button on your controller to lock, hold, and slide it across a Blend group. 90% or so of the time the lock will release on the real player, and you can kill/stun them. :)

Sometimes there are offers for those costumes every so often, which you find on the characters costume selection, which cost around 5000 abstergo credits. There are also the costumes in the champion packs in the abstergo store, which change every week. These cost around $4 or you can buy them for 20000 abstrgo credits. Hope this helps :D

Oh of course, and I agree with you. Every mode is different, and I meant no disrespect to you. I hate assassinate and I'm ok with that, but just cuz I think the game mode is stupid doesn't mean others have to. I play DM pretty fast paced but wanted realllllly slowly...and as a result I get fewer points, i don't put up huge numbers. I like to control the pace of the game, bring it to my level. Pretty successful that way too. That's why AC MP is good...lots of different things to do!

yeah when you stun someone that means they locked you, after you stun them they lose the lock, if you had them locked they will switch to a target and you can kill them, or if you didnt have them locked you can lock them and kill them after they are stunned.

It was like that in ACR too, and yes anything over 20k is an invalid score and doesn't count for credits or anything.

you can use it for variety i mean the extreme one but in assassinate it is easy to get extreme variety without gun

I've played like probably.. 5000 sessions of assassinate so i know all the tricks. And yeah people will run away when you lock them so that's why you lock last second right before you kill.
