Doing this in 2023 and although it still works, the profit in metal is considerably less than all the rest. So if you want to fill the 2.000 storage, expect to be doing this for several hours ....

best spot for metal imo: fast travel to tortuga(882,370) there is a ship in front of you which carries like 80-100 metal if youre lucky(if not just fast travel again until it has metal OR look to your left there will be 3 ships the one in the mid will have good cargo (maybe metal) aswell. 1 run took me like 2minutes in the early game and like 1min later when my mortar was fully upgraded (depends on how fast you destroy the ship, i killed the ship with 2 mortar shots)

If you travel to the viewpoint, hang and drop off, go to the spanish ship right next to you. (don't bother with the other one). Carefully climb up the side to not set the timer off or you wont have enough time to collect all the crates. When there is only three crates, loot the captain and get 200+R. Rinse, repeat.

definitly was in the right position and killed it with a single chain shot, my plan was to board it but it just sank and i could not find any loot, i circled the place several times. But i guess if you did this and found loot, this mission seems glitchy and you should try again before completing the mission. I just tought it didnt work any more so i completed it..

@@33R3X Idk But after you complete the mission, you can replay the mission again then do the glitch shown, exit to the main menu, log back in and it should save you stuff

There's a more efficient way of doing this, you get 10,000R, how you do it is, you go to the legendary ships, specifically the ones with the Two Man O' Wars, and what you want to do it, take out one of them and collect the loot, this should give you 10,000R, BUT, DO NOT Destroy the other one, Let that KILL you, then what will happen is, you'll be back at the start where your crew spots the ships and you should still have 10,000R added, Note: Your Cannons, Armor and Swivel Strength should be upgraded to max before doing this, anyways, it should take less than 5 minutes to destroy one of the man o' wars. and I managed to get 80,000R in 30 Minutes. Enjoy.

I just got to this mission, I did the reload several times and then quit to main menu. Now when I load back into the game, it has where I left off and everything. Now my question is, since I did already do the quit to main menu, can I still continue farming? Also if I finish the mission as long as I don't progress further into the game or anything, can I come back to replay the memory and repeat the reload checkpoint and still continue building my money? Or am I not able to do it any further and have to finish the mission to keep what I have saved.

@@braydonshaver7977 Yeah, my jackdaws currently fully upgraded, but I found thats one of the best ways to farm money in the game. im currently number one in New Zealand weekly and monthly for money earnings and I havent been on in about 2 or 3 months to farm money lol. Its lowkey a struggle when your just starting, I think you should try and upgrade the jackdaw as much as you can before starting. :)

When you see any ship, park not in the way but next to where it will be in 20 seconds time, Hop off the wheel as soon as you are far enough ahead and head and swim out to where it will pass, climb up the ship and take out all enemy's. Once all are killed hop back onto your ship and shoot the Man O' War once and it will be ready to board with only objectives to do, you will also still be able to keep that ship in Kenway's fleet
