I'm an archaeologist and a historian. I just started this game franchise a couple of weeks ago. As someone who studies the past for a living, I will say I am impressed with the amount of detail that went into reconstructing Roma and I definitely had fun parkouring around the Colosseum. But I also felt that I was going to get arrested or at least yelled at by one of the employees for doing so lol.

Facts. Nothing ever came close to AC2 Brotherhood or Revelations. Revelations was great but AC2 and Brotherhood were such memorable experiences because of the returning characters between the two games and the height of Ezio’s journey. Unity tried earnestly but failed quite miserably. No other game for me comes close to what AC2 and brotherhood achieved in terms of the powerful music, impeccable storyline and protagonist, and the general atmosphere of the games.

I was going to pick my cousin up from school with my dad and I decided to play this as I was waiting at the bus station the beginning filled me up with a bit of hate and regret and then as I started to hear the Echoes of the beautiful Angelic voice I remembered the good times I had in this summer of 2021 playing Assassin's creed and even listening to some tracks while I was running to the gym and the sun was blazing hot at me and I was having a good time with my friends and occasionally all by myself and I had memories of the old boxing gym I always used to run to everytime back in summer and I got kicked out this month because the coach was a greedy cash grabbing piece of shit but that doesn't matter the thing is when I remembered how i've lived my life back in summer and got reminded of how i'm still in my prime years (15 years old) and how I have an entire life around me and yet I felt like i've lost everything in life , how i lost my purpose and I became a defeated man it just hit me in the feels and I started crying but my dad was in front of me and I didn't want to continue crying but I couldn't stop it and eventually my dad asked me why I was sobbing and I just said "sometimes I release my energy out of nowhere" and he just asked me "you do that?!" and I was like "yeah" and then after 2 or 4 days I believe I put this track again and I started to cry even harder than before I am doing a lot better now because I got it all figured out now and I am currently at a fitness gym building myself up for summer

My favorite type of missions in the Assassin's Creed series were the secret locations in the Ezio trilogy. They are the ones where you do puzzles and platforming until you find treasures and armor. It's a shame they never added them to later games. I am currently playing Ghost of Tsushima and it has something kinda similar to those, but they are way shorter and simpler. They're the shrines missions.
@13thmistral2 жыл бұрын
Well, in black flag there were a few comparable missions, but i get what you mean. The setting of doing platforming inside the recreation of an ancient city that existed for generations after generations is something that has not happened ever since the ezio trilogy indeed.

Could someone explain what the chanting means?
@JBman9613 жыл бұрын
Aetas sancto aetas nam regna Aetas sancto aetas nam regna Recessus animae sancta Recessus animae sancta This is what I found for lyrics, did a little bit of research on it, found nothing really legit. In literal translation, it means: "Holy age time for the kingdom Holy age time for the kingdom Disgusted holy Disgusted holy" I believe they might be made-up lines, in the sense that it is a sequence of existing words but they can be ungrammatical or there can be a lack of cohesion between the words. In this format, these are a bunch of words in a language that exist, but in real life, native speakers wouldn't say these things the way it is being said here. In the philosophical approach, it is similar to Cristoph Waltz's Italian monologue in Inglourious Basterds.
@MDMetalManiac3 жыл бұрын
A part of it also says "Nothing is True, Everything is permitted".. Now that's attention to details right there
@VainCape3 жыл бұрын
@@JBman961 thanks. i was hoping for something more deeper, in a literal sense, from the translation. So I suppose it is up to the listener to assign some subjective meaning to the chanting, based on how it 'feels'

There is another interpretation of the lyrics in the net: "Aetas sancto Rome, aetas nam regna. Aetas sancto Rome, aetas nam regna. Resus omnia licita. Resus omnia licita." Hard to translate, it could be something like: "Life-time (alive) of the Holy Roman Empire, life-time (alive) of the kingdom. Everyone is allowed to smile (here)". Or: "Everything is allowed (with a smile)." Not 100% sure, but the sounds fit better to these lyrics.
