The perfect templar plan: Get one or two guys to sit in a corner with a roof. The walls are long enough to where they would see an assassin coming. Put an alarm bell next to them, and move as many things as possible so they can see the entire camp.

@@pixelcount350 It mostly understands the core of the franchise's roots but there are still medium holes to fill. Two words: engine sucks (for a "back to the roots" game) 8/10 I dare to say and I'm speaking, acting and writing this as a simple witness of this passionable, made with lot's of affinity for the old titles, project. First: I agree with you about the AI in old games, not being much clever, but It Isn't exactly a necessary gameplay part to bring back, when returning to the roots It''s Its main goal. It's one of those mechanics, which actually needs constant improving for the better experience and immersion, with every upcoming title (old school oriented) They could've maken it a lot more immersive, but lazy work or short deadline was the case. Now we need to accept and ignore the dumb AI behaviour to feel like a true assasino. It's not a pure stealth feel, but kind of imitates it. Second: Old games had It mostly balanced. Valhalla was one extreme with It's stealth - none. Mirage tries to compensate on that and almost reaches the other extreme - OVERdumb AI 🤷 Not to talk about, they even need'd to sacrifice the combat in order to FORCE!? you to engage stealthy, instead of making both gameplay aproaches shine. My hopes are with the Berdeaux team, but not with that engine. And actually, no. We OLD SCHOOL fans KNOW what we want, and this game here is closest to it. Close enough (period 🤞)

@@a3a222 The engine is the same engine they've been using since AC1. The whole reason who you see those animations being different from the previous titles is due to the games needing engine to fit the new format. They can't just revert back to Unity just because one or two lame fans think the animations suck. What do you mean? Ai was never good to begin with. You have nostalgia glasses on as people complained about the AI since AC 1. Those back to roots elements in regards to Ai are imaginary things you are making up. I swear the AC fanbase are toxic for this very reason. What everyone says about the fans are true. You guys do not know what you want.
