Despite two failed launches and a death at the end that costed us a sub 2:30, we still managed to beat our previous PB and display a good time. Thanks everyone who participated in the stream the other night, it was a late one but it was worth the World Record!

@@boggyboi4516 New Game + basically allows you to restart the game but it lets you keep your previous levels and abilities from originally beating the game the first time. since this person is a speed runner, it's likely they've beaten the game multiple times in order to have started out as level 99

Honestly it's so nice seeing AC games with big skips. I remember around when Odyssey came out I looked at AC speedrunning and saw it was fairly long and boring. Glad it seems to be picking up a bit with interesting tricks and runs that aren't TOO long. Hopefully someone can work out how to bring Valhalla down to something more manageable as a run.

Well AC:Origins is only about 30minutes longer but yes, Odyssey is the shortest ac speed run game.

Why not use horse skin with wings? When jumping down from high place, they do not have the fall animation. In 1:08:08 you would not have to around you can just jump down from the rock on the right side straight down. Save 1 sec or 2.

I would actually, but the game's market had an error and I've been contacting support to get it back. Usually though we don't have to worry about losing time to falling animation but it is nice to have.

That's great! Unfortunely the rock jump with ps4 doesn't go too far. I suggest to do an abilty point speed run. A run to get all ancient stele and all abilty points in atlantis DLC. Great Work Anyway man

Yeah you'll need about 90 fps in order to launch far. So you won't be able to time well on console. The regular any% run best showcases us gaining all our ability points since we start from lvl 1.

You got the poison audio glitch, thought it was just my ps4. That audio glitch is really annoying and they never patched it. That's the reason I never use poison in this game.

@@gerry7903 yes but even without speedrun this game should take somewhere between 60-80 hours to complete, the main prob with mine was that in some parts i rushes and so my level didnt reach the recommended lvl of main quests and so i had to lvl up.

That's new game+, you finish the family quest, do the dinner in sparta mission then do a manual save and start a new game plus from the main menu. You'll keep all your gear, abilities and ship upgrades.

i prefer assassin play style, you get "assassin damage applies to nearby enemies" stat later on which used with assassin abilities will damage nearby enemies. loved doing that.

Weapon doesnt matter but ability. Bull rush and ring of chaos are the best ones. Also the encraving of damage apply to enemy around does the work
