The biggest differences that I see from these two games is the color schemes and the details of the clothing and graphics. Black Flag has more vibrant colors, most likely from the fact that it's based in the Caribbean and the developers wanted to showcase the various colors in that area. Rogue has more monotone and grayish colors, indicating the more somber tone of the Seven Years War and the North Atlantic area. Each game relies on similar gameplay mechanics, utilizing naval combat and hand to hand combat. Now, what I find interesting about Rogue is how it utilizes the best aspects of both AC3 and AC Black Flag, and that's what makes it such a unique game among the franchise.

true no one understood this much,. most of them might be hating rogue so much like downgrading of colour scheme and monotone, ocean looks too dark bluish and and bland, but if u see it irl tahts how north atlantic looks like, cant expect the sea there to look like mediteranean or caribean sea

It's one of my favorites. And small thing but I like that I can kill anyone I want. Also I love Shays outfits and just the way he moves as well. Combat is my favorite in the series as well.

For me Shay is the most skilled assassin in the saga, and maybe the strongest (I didn't count The Eagle Bearer because we all know that he/she is a demigod and solos all the franchise). I think that Shay can show Altair what is like to be hit. Funny thing: it always makes me laugh how prologue Shay is basically me but whit short hairs

​@@godzillazfrictionI once shared this POV, but if you watch the video carefully you will notice the graphics downgrade. The combat, stealth and parkour are without a doubt better in Rogue but there are smaller things like Templar Hunts Rogue lacks because of its cut development time. Rogue is a good few steps ahead of Black Flag, but Black Flag has its own advantages.

Sorry, this comparative is not honest: For Visual: Black Flag is showing in a beautiful village, and the hight point using for example is cool Rogue is showing in a random arctic land, with no building and less vegetation Problem ? Rogue contain some beautiful secondary places with little cities, and the real representative map for Rogue is River Valley, most than North Atlantics Point of View showing in this comparison is not equal: it's to easy to pick a beautiful place for show one game, and random place with other game and show "this is so better than this" though i prefer visual of Black Blag to, but the examples taking are not equal for both games
