tip for #42 if you're having trouble jumping to it. After you get the ledge grab ability, just hang from the higher pillar, move to the character's left once, back eject to the lower pillar and grab onto it.

Note for Flag number 42. You must have finished the memory Block #3 to get an ability to Grab a ledge so far

You need the ledge grab ability unlocked at the beginning of the fourth memory block

cheers for the vid mate i dont think id have had the motivation to find em all without it :P only complaint why did u jump down grab two other flags before going back up for 42 i mean the flag you get at the launch pillar woulda been an ideal save point for the many times i died making the jump.

Clue for flag number 42 if u are playing on keyboard u must look straight forward while jumping not down and then ur not glitching and then grab

I feel your pain, i too have 99 flags and i have a map where you can mark which flags you've got but it got an update and all the markings got blanked out and now i have to start over to find the 100th flag.

I finally have a solution for the 42 flag! For one day I tried to catch this stupid flag and the problem is indeed an invisible wall. I found the solution thanks to a post on Steam that said that using Fraps would fix this problem. So I installed Fraps and in the game you should see your FPS in yellow. Then I put the game in windowed mod and I succeeded in 2 tries! (sorry for my english)

#97 is the one i missed, it's location is similar to other flags so i probably thought i already took it.

I was one more in the 99/100 club. I did not restart the game, I decided to go through each corner of the map to find out which flag I forgot to capture. And after dozens of hours I turned off the console, when I returned to the game, I started to walk randomly in the area until I found flag # 70 (#70 assassinscreed-maps. com) by accident and BOOM achievement unlocked PT-BR Eu era mais um no club 99/100. Não reiniciei o jogo, decidi passar em cada canto do mapa pra descobrir qual bandeira eu esqueci de capturar. E após dezenas de horas eu desliguei o console, quando retornei ao jogo, comecei a andar de forma aleatória na região que dei respawn até que encontrei a bandeira #70 por acidente e BOOM conquista desbloqueada

OK my second time following this video but this time I used a map showing where the flags were and crossing them out with an X as I followed you. AND STILL CAN'T FIND THE LAST FLAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Either you missed one (as I paused the video like 500 times trying to find the exact spots you were at, not that hard) or the game did the random glitch of making a flag disappear......ugh....

#21 was the one I missed. Every map I saw made it look like it was on the guard tower. I'd been up so many, I just assumed I'd gotten it. Holy crap, I don't have to do this anymore. Now it's on to the slightly more manageable cities!

If that's where you need to jump from a high point to a pillar, hold B to grab the very very edge of it.

ok i have an answer for the problem, you need to kill the first 3 enemies who al mualim told you, then you earn level 4 and now you can grab in jump with the B button. Hopes that help. :)

Dude I had the same problem... Probably it's late, but notice that he jumps with his hands up. You have to jump and hold grasp, or else he will just slide by the wall.
