I really like fight animations in syndicate, what i enjoy less is the cartoonish style it has. But i love when there's a lot of different animations and there's even wall finishers which are cool, i know earlier games had wall finishers too And i would enjoyed unity a lot more if we could fist fight even though i know it would be strange if arno used his hands when he has a sword (the character is really an epeist kind)

These are just the 3 main weapons so far. I’ve recorded much more: hidden blade, vehicle, NPC, Jack the Ripper DLC takedowns, theres like 300 more takedown animations!

Speaking from a martial arts standpoint some of the moves are plausible in real life But it's a game it's supposed to be entertaining They did that in my opinion

The only minor thing that bothers me about some of the animations itself is the way the character abruptly sets back into default idle as soon as the animation is over, like there isn't a moment where they stand in a light fight pose or try to recapture their balance after pulling off a move for a few seconds, probably for faster response for gameplay reasons I'm not sure why

Unity had arguably the best combat of all the AC after AC1. You actually get overwhelmed, fights felt slow and grounded like it should be, no mindless button smashing, no damage sponge enemies, nothing cheap overall

Okay, something that always confuses me. Is that do Evie and Jacob have a second hidden blade? It almost seems like in some of the animations. It seems like they do in other instances they don't. Is it just like I'm assuming if they do? It's hidden underneath their sleeve on the opposite side of their bracer.

Yes, they both have a pair of hidden blades but it's hard see since most animations are from unity

This game had such potential the combat is fun for an hour or two but after that gets very repetitive (I know all the AC games can feel that way) what I mostly mean is this game only lets you pick 3 weapons each weapon has only a few takedowns and a lot of the animations repeat back to back idk might just be me but it got underwhelming still liked it but you can kinda tell Ubisoft was really experimenting going from a new combat system in unity to this then switched to the mmo formula

The customizing alone makes me repeat the game multiple time on new saves while playing it specific skill and upgrade. Its fun if you play it stealthy, like I mean there's seems plenty of way to play em differently since game are mostly stealth focused. Best part is how they make kidnaping as a social stealth, and a carriage as a moving hiding spot and places where u could store your random kidnap victim and going into other high alert area like walk in a park without killing anyone inside, cheesy way to sneak in though.

I think fighting was weakest point of sydicate. Because it wasnt realistic and not cool same time. Most of the time characters seems over reacting, still beating up a downed enemy. They want to cover up useless weapons variaty with animation but i think it would be covered up if they use them smart. Make knuckles a secondary weapon which you can use with realistic kick boks moves. Every win in fight will make your gang more powerful because you are not killing enemy but make cane and kukri primary weapon which you can use for effective killing with cool moves. These would make game's mechanic so much more fun. It is my personal opinion, though.

I think the lack of weapon variety is due to the time period. At this point London became very strict on weapons so they had to use easily concealed weapons like knives, cane swords and brass knuckles can’t walk around with a blunderbuss like Arno😂
