Unity and Syndicate had its problems but I would love to see AC series return to this old-school type of gameplay. This is all I want! I want densely populated historic locations, cinematic animation-based combat with cool finishers, a lot of assassin tools, fully realized stealth system, smooth parkour and a tight story that is focused and interesting. Ubi, please... Just make something like Black Flag, Unity or Syndicate but polish it so it's actually impressive.

cant believe half the people in here, this is the first assassins creed game since assassins creed 2 with no multilayer, this game is pure single player witch can only mean a better main game, this is by far the best looking Victorian london i have seen in any game the detail in the architecture is exquisite. despite its problems i enjoyed unity a lot and i glad they have seen their mistakes and moved on. this game is made by the same team who made black flag not unity and black flag was awesome i love games with detail and this has heaps of it i am looking forward to exploring this game and messing around on the trains.

n00bie it should be fast, you play as an assassin who is trained to quickly dispose of any enemies obstructing the path to his kill target. Longer combat is something for RPGs. For instance in Unity, especially in the beginning when Arno had a low skill level, combat took way too long.

There is a lot of hate in the comments section because for every other game besides Syndicate, they showed promising Demo's and there was always some new feature in the games that got people excited for it. But AC Syndicate is the first one that actually looks like shit. The demo's show nothing that makes the game look promising, and to be honest it looks extremely bland and you can tell it is lacking innovation. I mean AC Unity wasn't that good of a game, but atleast the trailers and demos made the game look amazing and fun. But this is like....

I hope that during the final Assassin's Creed game we get to personally meet and thank the guy in the game who went around and conveniently placed all those carts of hay stacks everywhere. The ones that always look the same, can fit perfectly a human body in, and can support the weight of a human falling from giant castles. Would be the best ending ever.

You can go both ways. Evie Frye is mysterious and does her work from the shadows most of the times in the game. There is even a camo ability to evie to emphasize on it. It all depends on how the player chooses to play.

Honestly I quite like this game. Some people complaint that hijacking carriage is like GTA, but what did you expected from Victorian London, it makes you immerse to the world and I like that. The only criticism I had is the downgrade parkour system. I don’t mind the rope launcher, too much gap between building so that understandable, but there was no freedom of movement in parkour like Unity. I can’t command Evie or Jacob to jump off any building unless the buildings were closed to each other, and London building in that period is bad for parkour in general

I honestly love the setting, gameplay, story, and characters of Syndicate... the only that ruins it for me, is the damn Batman grapple gun. It takes out the fun of traversing and finding ways to scale the rooftops of the cities. I almost never used it.
