I feel like I'm a part of a small group of people who played the game, and deeply enjoyed it, and dismissed all bugs and glitches, which really doesn't affect the story. I found the story brilliant, and had nice little twists on the French Revolution. By far the best out of the franchise for me at least. The visuals were stunning, and the combat is sexy as ever and actually requires tactics, and stealth(which I enjoy). I was quite sad at the end though, I kept telling myself she wasn't going to die, then she faced Germaine on her own and I knew what would happen :'(

"I found the story brilliant". Really? Did you play the same game as me? AC Rogue has got a better story than Unity by far.
@0nlyBane10 жыл бұрын
I did in fact play Unity, you are just one of those people who either act like they played Unity, but don't have next gen or a PC, and just played Rogue, or you played through it without paying any attention. I should be asking you the same of Rogue, it was okay... But nothing really new was offered in it.
@RafaelSantos-pi8py10 жыл бұрын
The Only Bane Let's look at the story of Unity then. It starts with a young, gifted and charismatic noble man with a talent to get himself into trouble. I spent the 1st hour colecting money chests and climbing rooftops and sincronizing viewpoints. And then comes the twist. He is betrayed, his father is killed by templars and he joins the assasins brotherhood seeking revenge. Totally original and new the story of Ezio and AC2... i mean, Arno and Unity. Never saw that before...
@0nlyBane10 жыл бұрын
Rafael. While Rogue may be following the story of a Templar, that was highly expected to happen. You are only essentially looking at the somewhat similar aspects to the previous AC games, Templars and Assassins are very close, and cases like this happen a lot. But working with a Templar, and letting a Templar work with the brotherhood is very new. Rogue was dull, and I could really just expect everything that would happen. You may say the same for Unity, mainly because it follows the line of History oh so well with its own little spins to it. Like when we learned Robespierre tried to commit suicide, but only blew off his jaw. In Unity, Elise shot him in the jaw for his lack of participation. Moments like this awed me. Can't say the same for Rogue.

I doubt i would have felt much for Elise if i hadn't read the book. Its written from her point of view so you get both sides to this story, and a little extra to Arno's. It makes Assassins creed unity's ending more complete, i would strongly recommend reading it

Dearest Arno, I can barely conceive how much has changed in the last three years. How far our roads have taken us-sometimes I feared our paths would diverge forever, or else come together at loggerheads like the star-cross'd lovers in some hackneyed stage piece. Yet here we are, not the same brash children we once were, nor yet strangers. When this is over, when Germain is dead at our feet and my father rests, who then will we be? Assassin Mentor and Templar Grand Master? The continuation of the old, or the beginning of something new? Will we shape the future of our world, or will we retire quietly to the countryside to raise goats? (I can just see you as a goatherd, leaping and climbing about the Alps. No goat would have a change of escaping you.) I do not know what the next days, months, years will bring. All I know is that we shall remain Arno and Élise, and with that, I am content. Je t'aime, Élise

@@MA-yu2ss this is even later but... if you look at the movie Arno appears for a brief moment to Callum and I think in Unity you have a few short present day cutscenes where _someone_ goes through Arno's memories. So he must have had a biological child since the Animus works through genetic memories, right? 🧐 I mean, I am all for Arno adopting Léon though. I loved their interactions in Dead Kings

Was it just me who felt that Elise didn't love Arno as much as Arno loved Elise. Of course Arno would choose to save Elise rather than to kill Germain. She was such a good edition to the series and my personal desire for them was to survive the revolution, and die in a more honourable way.

i would say elise and anro did love each other because anro did everything for elise and elise basically poured all her love into her letters. but you are prob right, elise really did love anro but she had all tht guilt and hate built up for the years she was in hiding and not getting anywhere(read the novel ) so she couldnt let tht go.

What's even more sad is that Arno found another woman... how would that have been when he will always think of Elise! To be honest it would have been more interesting to see her live and have to leave Arno for some reason! It would have shown a real strength in her character!
@user-ln9pi6hk1p8 жыл бұрын
you gotta understand tht dude(Germain) killed her dad and had stolen her entire order from her. Germain basically did a hostile takeover and then tired to kill Elise multiple times. how do you let tht sht go? she would have had to go into hiding for the rest of her life and live with the guilt of being a sack of sht.
@user-ln9pi6hk1p8 жыл бұрын
erm the reason why she bum rushed him was cuz she thought dude was gonna run or teleport away with the sword and that they wont be able to track him for the 3rd time. N i think she was confident tht she could take him on cuz he was stunned. But we all kno now the sword blew up in their faces. And like i said b4 her obsession was completely justifiable after everything that has happened to her.
@user-ln9pi6hk1p8 жыл бұрын
Yeah i really didnt like the fact she died either. Also Elise didnt think it was possible to even find him the second time( she was flipping sht when he got away at first). Also you should really take point of why i said her obsession was justifiable to her death. She had been shtted on constantly and had to just take it for years. This made her bat sht crazy cuz she was feeling like trash(guilty and hating herself and others) for not being able to do anything. She didnt want to become the monster she knew she became(stated in the novel). Also another thing to note is that i think ubisoft would have killed her off anyways cuz apparently they like having the main characters have all their love ones killed him front of them until they are all dead. I really wish they for once let the main character have some kind of happy ending cuz Anro didnt have sht and tht pissed me off and made me sad for him.
@user-ln9pi6hk1p8 жыл бұрын
O and Elise knew the chances of dying(she wrote her last love letters) before going into the sht and she said it herself that "die trying" was worth it after she weighted things out. In the book she knew that she was a monster and she knew that she was too far gone to go back. She thought the only solution was to kill Germain then move on. She was even willing to give up everything afterwards and just raise goats and live in the country side. Still fk ubisoft tho
