It's always have been and right know, it's not the worst. They really improved since few years. The "call of duty" spirit was there during Rogue / Unity / Syndicate era, when the game came every 2 months. But Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla are quite good.

Dude I literally watched this video yesterday morning and later on the day I decided to play Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Eivor just straight up flew to heaven after sabotaging a bell😂 Unfortunately I got desynchronized but it was all worth it. That’s now the second time I’ve had such a glitch in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The first time I had a boat bugging into the ground. I wish I got these more, they are hilarious.
