The round shape barrel icon is for supplies you will always get 200 supplies and like 50 other supplies this mainly counts for raids tho

I've always hated and never understood why the best stuff to get in game is always at the very end of the game. like, what's the point of exploring and playing the game when all the cool shit is after you did everything in the game to get that stuff. sure, new game plus, right? well, no new game plus in Valhalla. at least not yet. don't get me wrong. i like the game. as much as origins. but i just wish getting the bets gear didn't mean completing the game to do so.

Yeah, I just got Mjolnir, but there's not really anything else to do story wise. Good thing I left some of the raids and animal hunts and such, or else I wouldn't have any reason to use Mjolnir until those DLCs come out.

Ok so hear me out... I’m not entirety sure what Ubisoft’s reasoning is, but I have a few thoughts. Does it make since to have access to the best gear in the game immediately when you start ? I think it’s to give you the feeling that you earned the gear, especially in other rpgs, you start off as the low man on the totem pole with nothing in your inventory, at the start of a game you don’t feel like a badass at all, and around every corner is a high level enemy that can kill you instantly. But as you progress throughout the game you are slowly able to obtain better gear. And by the late game you feel unstoppable, and you have a feeling of accomplishment, and that you truly earned the high level gear you have obtained. TLDR: getting the best gear in the game early is immersion breaking, and through progression it makes you feel like you have earned the gear you now finally have.

Tue problem is tat you get the stuff TOO late in the game. By the time you get Mjolnir Gungnir or log 6 settlement there is literally almost nothing to do. You almost have to 100% the game to get the stuff so your point makes no sense nobody wants it super early but we don't want It when there is nothing to use said op weapons on.

@@james8bit420 it’s “unavoidable” as far as I’ve seen in the terms of it just happens. For one of the final story missions you have a fight and after it’s supposed to trigger a cutscene and the final boss fight. For lots of people the cut scene doesn’t trigger so you’re trapped in a cavern you can’t leave.

predator bow is great +20 gets added to all back damage, since its a global stat. Considering your base is 50, +20 is alot, add this with the +25 back damage when dodging spear and runes

When completing an alliance it does contribute to growing the settlement you if you didn’t complete all the alliances, then do that because that’s most likely why

One of the main issues I have with this game other than all the bugs is the reward system, many of the bosses you kill don't even give you weapons/armor they just give perk points.

@@biggumstevens1784 the game feels good, it's the loot system that's very bad, previously we've been given marginally better equipment as we've progressed, unfortunately valhalla is relying on the nickel, tungsten, iron and leather to get the best weapons and armor. you can grind early on by fishing with a spear, and farming tungsten from a certain location to get decent equipment early on, and as the game progresses you can defeat the witches for thor's armor, obviously and stupidly waiting till you kill all of the order for his cloak to finish the set, i'll admit i'd prefer armor dropping like it did in odyssey, but this games good in the sense of being able to fight above your weight class, in odyssey someone twice your level one shotted you and your attacks didn't dent them, in valhalla you can finesse your way around people 3 times your power level.

Idk if anyone knows or if it’s a thing that was created after the fact 3 years later. I’m barely finishing the game which I regret not doing earlier but if you go to shops around England and in your settlement you can get 10000 supplies for free! Again not sure if this was patched in but it’s definitely cool! Still got some raids to complete and at lvl 5 so hopefully I will have enough to complete lvl 6!

Maybe in later eras, but taxes in the way we think of them weren’t really a thing in Danelaw. Everything operated a lot more like a commune, everything went towards the good of the whole settlement and distributed from there.

So...We have "White Senu" in the Uplay rewards. Bayek's Hidden One outfits was for the reveal event, and you can get Bayek's bow/Amenhotep's bow in the shop once your settlement reaches level 6? Is Ubisoft trying to tell us something?! Bayek sequel confirmed?! ...Just kidding. XD Although I do like that there are several Bayek related items in this game. Good news is I'm at level 6 for my Settlement! Bad news is I need more Silver to buy everything. XD

You need to do main story quest to get raw materials. You can get supplies from anywhere in the world in towns. I did all the raids and didn’t have enough raw materials to even get to level 5 settlement

This game has a lot of issues going on. Built the barracks and came back to the settlement it wasn’t there had to build it again. Revealed the whole skill tree then it just gets clouded again. Hope we have an update soon that fixes a lot of these issues that’s happening

it will cloud places you don't have any skill points invested, i revealed the whole skill tree by resetting my points a lot of times then deciding where i wanted my points to go, it clouded back up after that.

Personally I think the Asgard ship set looks better than the Isu one but the Niflheim one is cool, though not my personal taste. The Jotunheim ship set is also pretty cool.

Have you built all the buildings (fowl farm, cattle farm and grain farm, and updated them). How much you have the raw materials at this moment?. Yellow barrels in the map are the raw materials, so i think you can't go past them???. I was stuck, but then i found the fowl farm. After that, 6/6 reached.

Ps4 here. Is there a settlement bug? I've been 5/6 for what feels like forever. Lvl 375. Story complete. 265 raw materials in inventory 3900 supplies. What am I doing wrong?

I'm still level 5 but i'm missing 3 upgrades and I also haven't finished the story. You definitely have to finish the story (some of the region's level up your settlement). In your bedroom there is also a list somewhere that should list all upgrades you are missing)

I find all the gear a bit extra.. is there also down-to-earth, slightly historical realistic armor for Eivor in the game?

I mean, not really, as none of the armor in any AC has really been historically accurate. There are some cool, semi timeline related armor sets that might fill the need though. Raven Clan Armor is as close as you get. Brigandine and Carolingian armor sets also look pretty cool but they look more appropriate to like Mongols/Romans respectively.

I think with the thor set it should of had a little story behind it. Like a reason to search for the item more than just o hey thors stuff, cool. Also getting it at the end of the game is just odd unless you have new game plus. I've heard its coming but it should have been in there.

I've finished the entire game, minus 1 glitches animus anomaly in Norway, upgraded every building as well. I'm the tiniest sliver away from level 6. The only thing I haven't done is the deliveries for the shopkeeper, and I don't think that will help upgrade anything at all. I've completed every building upgrade, and I'm still not level 6. Can someone help? (Before you mention the Fowl Farm, it's already been upgraded.)

Is the monastery raids really enough? I have done them all and am not at level 6 yet, I still have one region left for some more mats and one building upgrade more. Other than that it seems story mission completions adds some as well. Thus level 6 is basically end of the game no matter what one does...

Alright, so I'm stuck. I've raided every raid location (yes *every* raid location). And I've just completed the 'lend a hand' quest or whatever. I have the fowl farm left to upgrade, but I need more raw materials. I have more than enough supplies to build it, but not raw materials. I've done all the alliances available to me. Wtf do I do to unlock settlement level 6, or at least more supplies?

Well, is it supplies or raw materials you need? The former you can find in some smaller chests in the world, the tiny gold dots. The latter, that comes from the raids and pledges.
