Nah that’s exactly the point. In the sister location blue prints is noted (or somewhere else idk) that the only way to get rid of remnant is extreme heat. Thats why the FNAF6 fire happened. But the thing keeping William alive isn’t remnant, at least not anymore. It’s agony. Agony comes from the book series of FNAF, but it’s described fundamentally different from Remnant. When someone witnesses a tragedy, the agony that that person feels can possess objects around them, to the point where those objects move on their own etc. Remnant is the melted metal of things that were possessed or are possessed by souls. So when you melt as an example a part of Chica, you get a possessed fluid wich still has some parts of the original soul from wich it was taken from. And that fluid can be used to possess other lifeless animatronics with the same parts of the original soul or idk other things. So remnant is all about souls and agony is about emotions. Or idk this could be wrong but that’s how I (as a person who read all the books) sees this. Correct me if I’m wrong tho.
