Personally, in m+ I feel the way to go is drop echoing reprim for 2/2 subterfuge. Having a 6 second window to tab target, spreading 3 garrotes and 3 ruptures every press for the duration; allowing you to get those in while ambushing for your deathstalkers mark, or cheap shot and really be an asset in m+. Not to mention vanish and night elf's passive allowing restealth on trash packs, leading to one of the most useful parts of it; garrote silences when used from stealth. Saved for those cursed pulls it can make such a huge difference being able to put out mass silence, or silence/stunlock/interrupt a single target near indefinitely

Amazing guide, but with the variety of rogue's damage and complexity for top dps could you please either add a section or make a seperate, standalone video of a condensed single target/AOE priority rotation with all of the bleeds, rupture, death mark, death stalker, poison, combo point, attack speed, etc. stacks XD. It's quite a lot. Your explanation portion where you did go over was fantastic, but last about 16 minutes going over a few different variations. A shorter version would be much much appreciated

What do you think of Subterfuge instead of Echoing Reprimand. Really helps applying Deathstalker's mark and AOE bleeds.

You're not quite right there. Because we take improved garrote, subterfuge is completely meaningless, because imp garrote is already giving you the benefits of subterfuge and subterfuge/imp garrote do not extend each other. you essentially just have two buffs giving you the same thing at the same time, making subterfuge useless. Subterfuge is a complete waste of talent points for assa atm, give it a try yourself on live.

I took it only to get the 2nd vanish. Reason is cause these tanks rarely leave any gaps between current mob and pulling next mob. This way I have quality level openers more often in group fights.

With IC your opener is 2x Garrote, into 2X rupture(u get a free one from Bone spikes), into an ambush for mark. Into a CT, into an envenom into a KB / Deathmark window. Deathstalker is unplayable in M+ without subterfuge and 2x Vanish. The comment , and the guide is flat out incorrect.

Awesome Guide as always. As someone didnt playing atm it seems so bloated. You got your 20 buttons to press, your little echo minigame, 2 Bursts where you need a wA to press stuff on a second timer to be efficient etc. Personally i think the Burstwindows seem kind of but the Echo on top of that feels kind of distracting. Since Echo was 1st presented in SL i felt like its unnecessarily "complicated" for the spec like a luck minigame that drives your attention away from the fight. Other then hitting exactly 3/4/5 cp i think it would flow more naturaly if you would "store away" these 9 free cp and use them to fill up you next finisher automaticlly in that time frame.

I dont know where he got that build from, but that is not whats being recommended by the theory crafters. I wouldn’t use that build. In low keys, Sudden demise will absolutely carry your damage, specially when paired with the execute talent.

Sudden demise is a lose prevention talent. If a target dies with 450k damage in bleeds on it you get back 300k damage that would have just disappeared into the void...it's very solid.

the pvp gameplay has evolved to a PVE style while integrating CC chains. learning your optimal DPS rotation will aid you greatly in many different pvp scenarios. Youll end up switching between cleave and single target build when facing casters or mellee heavy groups.

Caustic spatter in combination with crimson tempest being kept up is WAY more damage, and anyone who is any good at the game knows how to look at damage breakdowns to see that is the case...not to mention you can just sim your character in 3 to 5 target cleave and see what the apl is doing.

Garrote would come after? You have a window when opening to use empowered garrote after coming out of stealth, you can ambush, garrote, rupture, garrote, crimson all within that window.

Take the pvp talent control is king and NEVER OPEN WITH AMBUSH. Open with cheap shot, get slice and dice given to you, ambush, garrote, rupture, mutilate to max combo and just use envenom to keep slice and dice open.....theres no reason to spend points on slice and dice when you can start it for free and keep it going by using your main damage ability, envenom.
