Will Valhalla be a good game?? From what I see in all the early promotional videos, it does not look nearly as good as Odyssey. The great variety and ability to make specific builds seems to not be prevalent. The dodge animation looks very slow and clunky. The character creation looks UGLY!!! Sure it will be something new, however unless something changes personally I will wait on that game until a Steam spring sale and play it through just out of curiosity , but not holding my breath as the game simply does not look nearly as interesting. Perhaps I am wrong, however available evidence seems to support a lesser game. Cheers Kit

It depends on the amount of hunter damage, without using the falx engraving fire damage may be more valuable. Otherwise your base would be probably too low. All fire damage is added to your hunter damage before it gets multiplied. Headshot damage is just another word for Crit damage. It does the same thing but only for hunter. You can actually add Headshot + Crit together and calculate the damage. Always remember if you multiply 9x1 you get a low result, so high multiplier without the sufficient base is useless. If your numbers are close or even like 5x5 the result is highest.

Hello! Thank you for providing so much content for Odyssey. I had a few questions regarding poison builds. I use the Snake Set and I am trying to build a 100% crit chance build based on your engraving tips. I am at level 55, prefer a poison + hunter playstyle and shoot enemies from a distance. I use a fanged bow because of its ability, the big horn bow doesn't help in my build because it still leaves a small portion of enemy health whereas the posion damage on the fanged bow kills the enemy on impact. I am going to try the arena to stack up some XP because I have wasted drachmae on upgrading other weapons and legendary sets (probably with the idea that maybe the pirate set will work better for crit chance at a higher level). I have armor penetration, 100% damage but health capped to 25%. I wanted to ask: 1. What weapons would you recommend for this play style? 2. Is it possible to one shot mythical creatures/elites and bosses at level 55? 3. Should I let go of the fanged bow (and replace with one which has hunter damage) and use poison abilities? 4. Do I need to overhaul my playstyle in order to achieve better one shot damage on mythical creatures/elites and bosses? Thanks again!

If you cant one shot enemies with the bighorn bow your build incredibly sucks and you probably use the wrong weapon. The bighorn bow only ampliefies your left melee weapon, so you have to select that one and of course you only have to use warrior damage in your build, not hunter damage. The Bighown bow uses your warrior damage so you have to increase that. Danke für das super Video. Ich hab deinen Rat befolgt und hab mir ein Fire Build gemacht. Aber das es so von deinem abweicht hätte ich nicht gedacht. Dank deines Videos hab ich morgen wieder eine Mammut Aufgabe in Odyssey. Ich hab zu viele Fire engravings benutzt. Meine Gegner brennen mit 150000 Schaden sehr schnell ab. Mach aber dafür nicht so viel single Damage. Das wollte ich aber die ganze zeit. Mit den Over Power Attack schaff ich grad noch die Söldner zu One Hit'ten. Bin dir sehr Dankbar das du noch ein so ausführliches Video dazu gemacht hast. 👍

Und maximaler Feuerschaden ist genauso eine Möglichkeit. Verglichen mit Headshot nimmt sich das nicht viel, aber es ist doch sehr gegnerabhängig und manchmal nicht so konsistent. Mit Headshot sind die Ergebnisse tatsächlich manchmal höher, aber nicht zwangsläufig.

@@T7PDM Ich bin schon sehr zu frieden mit meinem Build. Aber was man noch raus holen kann ist ja der Wahnsinn. Morgen hol ich mir die 30% Armor Penatration Gravur. Meine Waffen haben die gleichen Gravuren von dir. Oaken Bow hab ich gewechselt wegen Feuer Schaden. Morgen Switch ich wieder. Bei der Rüstung wirds dann schwer. ich hab sehr viele ähnliche Teile. Aber in deinen Videos hab ich gelernt das es auf jede Gravur drauf ankommt wie viel Schaden am Schluß dabei raus kommt.

Have you noticed a damage difference between fire or poison arrows and basic arrows with flaming attacks of venomous attacks applied?

I generally think there is no difference in damage when you use the arrows. You can also ignite normal arrows on a fire source and it looks like to be all the same. Some standard deviation, but looks really the same. If there is any difference it is very small. But at the moment I doubt it. Even if there is a tiny difference it may be easily outclassed by another 50% headshot engraving that could be placed instead.

what's your opinion on spread shot? at tier 3, if every projectile hits a single target, wouldn't it have the highest damage + buildup compared to other hunter abilities (except overpower)? and thank you for the video! very elaborate and "scientific".

Spreadshot deals far less damage than a normal arrow shot, it is totally useless. It is probably the worst hunter shot in the game. A body shot deals only a third, a headshot deals 2/3 of a normal hit. There is no point in wasting either adrenalin or ability points on it. You are not even getting the damage of a normal arrow...

if you dont want to plan to use the melee wepaons it totally does not matter. No, the Orichalcum is stored on the server, and removed immiately. If you reload an older save, you will lose both the purple item and your orichalcum. Store Items are unlocked forever, no matter what save you load. You can not even duplicate quests, if you complete it twice you get the Orichalcum only once. 165 Orichalcum is the maximum you get per week.

You normally never die from the first attack, so either stay safe, what is the origin playstyle as hunter, or heal up immediately after you got hit. (Then the next hit cannot kill you again) BTW: You are also invincible during rolls and animations. Roll, when you see the arrow incoming warning. If it doesnt help switch the 100% damage perk with 30% all damage and enjoy.

170 for all my builds, just reduce the amount of points per mastery and spare whats not necessary. Focus on Crit Chance, Crit damage, Armor penetration and you are set.

This build can be done in the standard game edition. But the helmet I used is from Olympian gifts. It has a very rare drop chance to be in Olympian gifts. You can use the following helmet in a Poison build: Hunter, Headshot, Critdamage, and the following in a fire build: Hunter, Critdamage, Fire, and engrave both with 20% Critchance, or what is missing to complement the three.

@@StaudiX That totally depends on your playstyle, there is almost no difference. I used headshot here for comparison reasons between the two.

It does. Low health starts at 6.25% when you use the falx engraving. You can dismantle every item with low health stuff, its not needed at all in this game. Check out the dismantling guide aswell.

For the damage it is exactly the order you wrote. For the handling and use of adrenalin you have to consider Predator shot is much more complicated and Overpower shot needs 3 or 2 Adrenalin segments. Be careful what you read from other sources it may be outdated or incorrect, many people including on KZbin either do not have a clue or stopped playing long ago, before certain things were patched.

100 from levelling up, 22 from tombs + 60 from Atlantis every time. I did 6 new game plus so count the tombs and part of Atlantis multiple times. In the process I also went to Mastery level 118 currently, the levels beyond 99. You still get a point for leveling up beyond 99. Its around 400 now, which are not needed at all to make a good build. Just focus on the important stuff. 160-200 is enough.

The order of engravings doesnt matter, btw, just engrave the missing engraving. The Darksteelmask with 100% crit damage is unique and can only be obtained from Olympian gifts.

Wow, you got the helmet? That is the hardest, you are lucky that you got it from the gifts. You can feel yourself special, not many people have this item. You will find the torso, and if not, use something else, doesnt really matter if there is only a small difference, it only really needs hunter and crit damage. Thats the most important.

I play hunter the most ❤ but I love the safety of the Greek Heroes set because almost everytime I remove the Greek Heroes set I died in a few hits even on easy :( With the Greek Heroes set I never die. Barmy (but the damage is a lot lower)

The build you are commenting on, is outdated, because it does not use the bighorn bow. The bighorn bow uses your warrior damage as your hunter damage, so any bighorn bow build is better than this. @@nezkeys79 Maybe your build is just so bad and your damage is so low, that you dont even see it. Just equip the weapon and use it. The chance is really high that your build is incredibly bad. And course you cant expect millions on level 1, the effect grows per level, it will always increase your left melee weapon by a factor of 1.6. If you deal 1000 damage you will get 1600, if you deal 100.000 you get 160.000, if you deal 10 million you get 16 million. You have to unlock both melee weapons. In the Inventory it is amplifying the left weapon and in the ingame selection it is amplifying the right weapon, this can be confusing, so make sure you use the correct weapon with the correct picture. The hunter damage in the inventory does not change, instead the game uses your warrior damage. Just level up and see the effect grow as you level up. Crit chance at full health can only be engraved if it is not already in the item. Crit damage at full health can not be engraved on helmets, the item I used is a unique item, the only helmet in the game with Crit damage at full halth, it can only be acquired from Olympian gifts, as I clearly said in the video, btw, you have to listen. A replacemement for Poison build is: Hunter, Crit, Headshot and Crit Chance at fH. A replacement for Firebuild would be: Hunter, Crit, Fire and Crit Chance at fH.

The "Dark Steel Mask" with 100% Crit damage is another unique helmet. The one with Melee resistance is called the "Auxesias helm of darkness". Just in case you mixed it up. You can use 50% headshot/fire and 50% crit as a substitution, but you will lose on 10% all damage.

The Atlantis DLC contains 18 points per episode, a total of 54 points, you can collect from loations. When you do a new game plus you can collect all 22 points from tombs and all 54 points from Atlantis over and over again. You can do the story and access Atlantis in 6-8 hours and then 6 hours per Episode. That is faster than grinding for XP.

The video you commented on is particular for hunter playstyle. Epic is always better if done done properly, because every epic armor has one additional engraving. That results in 5 aditional engravings when you use a custom epic armor set compared to a legendary set. You can use my legendary warrior build it is also version 1.5.1 approved, if you are more a warrior player and do not want to grind for epic items. There is of course also an epic warrior build also 1.5.1 approved, dealing 18 million damage, that beats the legendary one. In the coming month(s) I will release a couple of more videos, including some lelegendary ones, that you do not need to grind the epic items for. But in general epic with the correct engravings is always better. Check out the other builds on my channel, there is a really good 800% Crit Damage allround build, but requires a late game DLC engraving: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGewkGaDjLFlp9U I have put all v.1.5.1 approved builds into a new playlist. But most of them require the Atlantis expansions.
