Just so everyone stops asking. Odyssey takes place in 431 BC and Origins takes place in 49 BC. That is 382 years. Elpidios is the son of Kassandra. A lot of sex can happen in 382 years guys. Lots of generations later Aya is here. it helps to know the story

Could be argued that it's because that's not the cannon ending. Then again, it's supposed to be "our Oddyssey" where the choices you make matter, regardless of their cannocity. So yeah, they should've taken that into account when making the DLC.

It's just cheaper and less complex developing the game. If anything it shows you the limited capabilities of Ubisoft to deliver.

Whilst It was implied that Kassandra/Alexios never saw Elpidios again, I would like to believe there was a reunion in the future where Darius before his death told Elpidios the truth and he came looking for his Mater/Pater when he was old enough to handle himself. Im sure Darius would have taught him decent fighting and defensive skills. Perhaps by that time the threat from the order had lessened. I can't imagine it would have been too hard for him to find the 'Eagle Bearer'.

Another thing is that the battle of Thermopylae actually took place in 480 BC, not 300. And by the game logic, that would mean that Kassandra was born before Leonidas. I still find this game to be my favorite though.

As much as I did enjoy Odyssey, and definitely looking forward to the Atlantis dlc, I feel Origins was better. Having the set scripted characters of Bayek and Aya was such better quality than the "player choice" Alexios/Kassandra. Plus you know they really aren't going to capitalize on having Alexios/Kassandra immortal throughout the entire timeline now. (You know you want to see them during the Black Flag era)

Yes and no origins story might have a been a little better but I think I enjoyed odyssey more just because I feel like they added more shit to do and also the weapons,abilities and the mechanics were better to me.... after I beat origins I didn't really care to play it that much however I did odyssey, I played the fuck out of it. I do think they could of done the dlc better in odyssey tho and explained the ending because they totally fucked up the timeline and not to mention they didn't give you the hidden blade once you beat it but I enjoyed odyssey gameplay more then I did origins.

But if you don't look too far into it and assume the construction projects happening in the background are just vague symbolism for the world evolving while the bloodline continues, it's not too bad. It is clearly the design for the Great Pyramids they used in Origins, they're massive, right next to the Sphinx, and they were all finished before King Leonidas's great grandfather was a glimpse in his father's eye. So looking at all these people comment "we don't know if they're the great pyramids" or "they weren't all built around the same time" is some serious bs. You could've shown the passage of time in LITERALLY any other way(they could've done Alexandria for instance) yet they chose the thousands of years old structures being built. There's no reason to justify it, it was an obvious screw up.

The problem is they focus on more than one protagonist and voice acting for 2 characters is expensive not to mention time consuming this is why The Witcher 3 only focused on Gerald and not Ciri... Ciri only had one story segment Origins is a good example the game only focuses on bayek and Aya only has one small part in the ending of the game Alexios should have never been playable from the get-go he was only shoehorned in as a playable character to get guys to play the game since Kassandra is the Canon character I get what they were trying to do but it failed miserably this is why the writing is all over the place

speznazz 2501 I personally felt like my Kassandra had a pretty good character development, for the first half of the game I was more inclined to be a thug mercenary who killed everyone when I was annoyed a bit, but the more unnecessary death I caused or seen the less I was inclined to kill when I had the choice, I even decided to do stuff for free or refuse payment when I could in the later parts of the game because I felt she was more feeling like simply helping than just killing, actually loved how at the end of Atlantis, Kassandra is having a monologue and if I remember correctly you can choose to say “I’m tired of killing and fighting” like she has gone full circle

You have to watch this scene better. It's not the same person walking. It's Aya, Bayek, and probably her son Elpidios. The vid is jumping through various times and persons. About the pyramids there is a symbolism, a deeper meaning about the ISU-human hybrids bloodline. It's like Kassy want's to say to her son, there is no escape from your fate. It's the road all our predecessors-ancestors took and the same you will take as the same will take those who will come after you etc.

Ubisoft should just make a new IP if they want an RPG and then have Assassin's Creed go back to being stealth. I found the games to be at their best when all out fighting was the last thing you wanted to do. Go in, kill the target and leave without being seen never got old. The stealth mechanics need a huge overhaul though, enough hiding in bushes, allow us to hide in the shadows and crowds again.

We only know of Aya since she was one of the main characters in Origins. There was no mention of other family members which they probably left it vague for some of the reasons listed already - she could have siblings, her mom/dad (which ever one is a descendant of Kassandra) could have had siblings, etc., that take up the Assassin cause.

Ufff, they really need to step up their storytelling for the next game if they want this RPG thing to work. So the point was to have this special bloodline continue .. which as it turns out to be Aya, which doesn't make sense since Bayek had the gift (eagle vision). So who are Bayeks parents? Or was he just born with the gift randomly? Also Bayek and Ayas son is dead so what of the bloodline? Did Kassandra, Alexios, Bayek or Aya have another child? If so why isn't it ever explained or hinted at? It was a bad choice to make trilogy where they start with the 2nd game, then go back to the 1st and maybe explain it in the 3rd. Especially now that they forced the story into this corner of being an rpg where you can play both genders, with any sexuality and forced Female focus even though it makes no sense. -> I mean I have no issues with with having female characters as the main focus if they are explained right. But here we have a protagonist with a gift, that has son, and yet for some reason we end up with a secondary character who is a woman, and apparently descendant of a special bloodline.

The death of Bayek's son doesn't mean the end of the bloodline simply because there's a gap of 343 years between Odyssey and Origins. Imagine how many sex can happen in this time and how spread this bloodline can be. That basically means that maybe, just maybe, both Bayek and Aya are descendants of Kassandra/Alexios.

Bayek doesn't have Eagle Vision, it's the Animus pulse which is an animus thing, not a canon Isu descendant ability

Realistically and statistcally Kassandra's bloodline would have multiplied in the hundreds after 4 or 5 generations. For example Emperor Charlemagne is a direct ancestor to most if not all europeans. Ayas was just one line of descent from Kassandra. Certain lineages wouldn't be important due to gene dilation of Isu blood. For example you share 50% of your dna with a parent. But you don't share the other 50%. Your siblings can inherit dna from a parent you did not. So you wouldnt even be a carrier of this dna as you simply did not inherit it. This would continue with some people having the traits and others not by chance. There likely would have been other lineages (descended from Kassandra) who would have retained a bit more Isu dna due to the fact some traits manage to not be diluted from families. Kassandra's bloodline is likely well and good. Aya also could have had anothrr child too. But the chances of her descendants only having 1 or 2 children per generation for hundreds of years is unlikely. Kassandra's bloodline would be alive and well in the modern era with many descendants not even sharing dna due to gene dilution. While others didn't loose the dna by chance. Aya is important as she comes from 1 of these families who didn't loose the trait due to gene dilution. This makes her relevant to the saga and events during her life.

Elpidos and his descendants eventually leading up to Aya playing "Ezio's Family" tho in this context "Kassandra's Family" was amazing while she talked over them walking over a developing Egypt. Even if it didnt make sense with the pyramids but if I had to use bs logic. AC is an alternate time line to our own, like Julius being killed by the a Roman branch called the Hidden Ones, precursors to the Roman Assasins Brother hood, instead of just treacherous Senators like Casus, and Brutus. Then again AC really need to stop contradicting themselves.

Ubisoft had a plan remember Kassandra is half Isu that makes her Child part isu and he likely got with an egyptian woman and had children also the pyramids being built in the ending are likely for that area egypt is a big country there are more places than just cairo and such where Origins take place, if anything this ties up lot of loose ends that we wanted answers too and now we know how far Kassandra's influence goes.
