The figure in white that Ezio keeps seeing is Altair, the most famous assassin of his time and Ezio's ancestor. This castle was where Altair and many other assassins were raised and trained but has now been taken over by Templars. Ezio can see visions of Altair which try to guide him on his journey. Since Ezio was the favorite character of the time Ubisoft tried to get one last ride with Ezio and Altair, just wish the game had been a little better

While Desmond is in a coma after interacting with Ezio’s Apple of Eden in Rome, he is met with another man from within the Animus we all knew as Subject 16 or Clay Kaczmarek. He explains to Desmond that he needs to wake up from his coma or else he will lose himself forever. Yes, you finally did the version with Ezio's narration to get a better sense of this games story. Honestly, this is my least favorite of the Ezio Trilogy, but still awesome in its own way. Altair, the ghost he sees is his ancestor from the crusade times. That castle is the home of the assassins of that time. Altair got betrayed by his master, after killing him he went on a pilgrimage after getting exiled from the brotherhood. When he came back he became the grand master and gained great wisdom from his studies during his exile on the artifact Al-Mualim used to mind control his subordinates. Ezio from Italy of the 1500s becomes an assassin without knowing anything since his family got framed by the templars. Seeking revenge he follows his father's path of being an assassin. He too finds an artifact like the one Altair owned, so he sets off to find Altair's knowledge under the Masyaf castle.

I've done the hero landing once when I was in elementary school. I was on the swing during recess, and the teacher was calling us in. I was still very high up when I saw this, so to not get in trouble I jumped off landed into the hero pose, then rolled with the momentum. I never tried it again.

masayf wasn't in ezios family it was the old assassins hq before altair died and he died in the library ezio finds his skeleton and altair died from old age he was still a badass in old age and he's the creator of the modifed hidden blade so that the assassins wouldn't have to chop off their middle finger (The Middle Finger Sacrifice) he created the codex and ezio's not related to desmond or ezio but ezio and desmond are related on desmond's mom's side i might be wrong but i'm sure that ezio is related to desmond on his mom's side and desmond is the main protaganist in ac1,2,3

Definitely Not Definitive "my story is one of many thousands and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon" UGH!!!!!!!! Gets me every time the music Altiar's shadow standing next to Ezio SO BAD ASS!!!!!!! to this day there is still not an AC game that lives up to that opening honestly just so FRIGGIN BAD ASS!!!!!! but yeah Revelations is basically what you just saw Ezio now much older and wiser now travels out to learn what Altair did during his time period as an assassin, in the game you play as BOTH Altair and Ezio. Revelations wraps up both of their stories so you get to see how their stories end, you learn a little bit more about Altair and his backstory there wasn't a ton about it in the first game so In Revelations you get to learn a little more about what happened to him after the events of the first game. If you haven't played Revelations its definitely very much worth your time story is amazing, visually out of the older ones Revelations is actually my favorite. If you guys are gonna play another AC game anytime soon do Revelations

Ah, the last game of the Ezio Trilogy, and the game that links the story of Assassin's Creed across the first 3 games. You see, Ezio might be the main character of the Trilogy, but for the first 4 major Assassin's Creed games, the true main character always has been Desmond Miles. In case you didn't know the story, he is a modern day Assassin who did not believe in the whole Assassin vs Templar story fighting for the free will of humanity and could not put up with the training. So he ran away from home. He worked as a bartender and was eventually tracked down by the modern day Templars and was kidnapped. He is then strapped to a machine called Animus, which modern day Templars now call Abstergo, has developed. It is a machine that reads the DNA of the host and forcefully awakens and unlocks memories and instincts locked within their DNA (kinda like how animals instinctively know what to do in their lives because they inherited the awakened instincts and memories of their ancestors within their DNA), which Abstergo can then view the memories like a video recording. What Abstergo wants are the memories regarding the Pieces of Eden. These are technological super relics left behind by the ancient First Civilisation humans, ranging from tools to weapons (Excalibur is believed to be one of them, even Mjolnir, and the Apple of Eden. Basically all the weapons used by the Ancient Gods themselves). These First humans are the ones that created the current modern human kind in their image, but modern humans are inferior to them due to tempering of the genetic code to make the modern humans lack certain abilities that the First Civilisation humans have. The modern humans of ancient times worshipped these First Civilisation humans as Gods (Thor, Zeus, Odin etc.). These Pieces of Eden left behind by the First Humans are tools used to control the free will of us modern humans, and the Templars and Assassins have fought over the Pieces of Eden throughout the shadows of human history. The Templars seek to use the Pieces of Eden to gain total control over the free will of all humans or use them as weapons. The Assassins fight against the Templars to prevent them from getting the Pieces of Eden and also hiding them from the Templars. Now, Desmond Miles is a direct descendant of several famous and noteworthy Assassins throughout history. The Templars hope to view the memories of his ancestors regarding the locations of the hidden Pieces of Eden. The main characters and Assassins that you see and use throughout the game franchise staged during different time periods and in different countries are all ancestors of Desmond Miles. It is sad Ubisoft fired the original writer of the Assassin's Creed story, who is also the director of the team working on Assassin's Creed. After the games became a huge hit, the greedy company board of directors pressured him to release a game every year. He refused to give the board of directors what they want, because he want to write a good story and also release a perfect game to the players/consumers. This Assassin's Creed Revelations is the last project he worked on. And that is why Assassin's Creed 3 is released full of bugs and with a crap story which killed off Desmond Miles.
