I remember that in real life military wargame or exercise, there is always an OPFOR force that serves as an enemy to the Blue Force, with inferior equipment but unlimited spawns. They are often meant to be outnumbered and outgunned but as long as they have good strategy and if the Blue Force is poor in their tactics, they can overturn the disadvantages. This game mode essentially feels like Rainbow VS OPFOR. Keres Legion has limited equipment and weaponry compared to Rainbow and their entire arsenal from every operator, but they have unlimited respawns. But if Keres Legion is played by extremely professional players, they can turn the tide and wipe out the entire Rainbow team, which is the Blue Force. Very well done game mode!!!

They only have inferior equipment physically (they use outdated decommissioned equipment) but on paper OPFOR weapons and equipment are onpar or better. OPFOR are given more advantages compared to BLUFOR for training. Source: am a soldier

The problem with it is during actual war, the enemies won't be redeployed in groups. The standard practice is "outnumber enemy minimum 3 to 1 to negate casualties". If they were deploying *ten* Keres ops at a time, it would make sense. Why would simulations be unrealistic if the point is to prepare soldiers?

Possibly... maybe a Defender of all sorts I do hope if theres a Keres Operator... they have a unique passive... if anyonr on your team has a downed operator within Rainbow, they cant revive them since they are Rainbow operators. Only fellow Rainbows can revive their own or Nighthaven attacking/defending ops can revive downed Rainbow operators.

I remember footage of Hereford base being leaked in 2024 and so far a while back 3 months ago .. and seems true enough really glad we have something new and special. Lovin the lore alr. After reading the comics operation collision point and continuing here can't wait for more. Really liking the Keres win or lose .. hope to see rainbow side win or lose and who knows maybe we will see what happen after.

This gamemode is my absolute favorite that has ever been in siege. This is so fun. It genuinely makes me excited. It came out of nowhere, it gets me actually excited about the lore, and holy the mode itself is just so fun for me. Ive been asking for a multi-stage mode like this for a long time. I am overwhelmed with how good this is. I really really hope things keep going in this direction in the future

after playing through this game mode as both Keres and Rainbow, here is what I have learned. 1.) As Keres, Go Kamikaze on Rainbow. Your goal is to just keep shooting Rainbow down. you have infinite lives, use them. 2.) As Rainbow, you want to work together very carefully. the first part is especially important since your goal is to secure objective. 1 person needs to be on the point watching it while everyone delays/Kills Keres operatives before they can get closer. you want grenades to clear any attempts to barb wire your entry points especially for your monty player to push in and start securing. Tachanka and Gridlock are strongest at this first part to restrict Keres legion movement This game mode is going to be harder for rainbow to win but play smart and use the operators correctly and you will win. Especially at the Extract Deimos section, smoke grenades/sens will be very strong here to block Keres Legion's line of sight and help your team advance towards the goal

yes! this is what I've realised. in terms of the lore it proves how BIG Keres legion has got - there are so many soldiers in this operation they can just throw them onto the field without a care. rainbow are strung thin - there's only twenty of them - they need to be strategic if they want to keep their organisation alive

@andremihan7847 keres has infinite lives. Rainbow doesn't. It doesn't matter how "bad" the keres legions guns and gadgets are, rainbow will get overwhelmed without proper teamwork. Especially in the second stage where destructibility comes into play

With my experience thunder bird is amazing in The second part of you can put her Kona stations in good locations to defend the area and the spear with 1.5× scope is really good and in the games i was in it was a complete open mike for both sides to talk on

Yeah cus it’s next to near impossible. Phase 1 is easy, phase 2 is hard cus of the spawn campers and long gameplay time, and phase 3 is usually really difficult cus you’ll only have like 5 or so operators left. But if you have more than 12 than it’s a cakewalk

@@mrchadstuff7517 I find it's the opposite. phase 1 is the hardest because Keres Legion can kamikaze themselves towards you. Phase 2 is easier cuz Keres has to go through chokepoints and Phase 3 is medium cuz you need a good set of operators to work from

A couple things. 1: I wonder which ending is canon. 2: Since there's a Phobos as well as a Deimos, I wonder if that means the leader of the Keres Legion is named Ares since in Greek mythology, Ares, the God of War, was the father of Phobos and Deimos. If so, I hope that Ares is also the "hidden enemy" that Sam Fisher has been hiding from.

One detail, in Greek mythology Phobos is the brother of Deimos, both sons of Ares, god of war. I believe that the new recruit who appears in the comic helping Blackbeard is Phobos (Daniel Bogart back from the dead maybe) in disguise. In my opinion we will have one more villain appearing and maybe the 2 are just soldiers below an even bigger villain: ARES! PS.: in astronomy Deimos and Phobos are moons of the planet Mars, Mars is the equivalent of Ares in Roman mythology.

Ubisoft need to transfer certain map design choices from this mode BACK to Hereford base and do a small map update/mini rework to it The site connector on those two sites would be huge, as would the window jump in to bathroom. Even removing basement makes this map feel less awful.
