I'm excited for it to come out to the US in July. Loved the genesis version, but the only gripe I have with the new one is it looks like you have way less friendly allied units. The genesis version actually felt like a war but in the remake, it looks like it's just a one man army type of deal. Still looking forward to it though

I think the sega saturn one is the best. The only drawback for that one is that it has too little level and it appears that the difficulty level stays the same after the second play through. And it doesn't have a good ranking and score board system.

Even if it's not quite the original I'm still disappointed that we've fallen steps backward in the issue that we're not getting many titles like this in the US. There are people literally willing to donate efforts to translate text for free and localization for digital only titles is cost effective and a snap. They can claim all day otherwise, but in this day and age it really is. For one, Cyberbots and other games were left in Japanese yet still made available on US PSN and they got done good sales. There's no reason went this title shouldn't be a western release.

Come on! It isn't THAT bad! I have played both versions and the extra dialogues and info to the ASL world on this one is very welcome!

Eh yes and no. Leynos two has better animated Sprites. This blows it out of the water in every other department. Either way this is actually really good looking for it's budget. This is a very niche Franchise that most probably don't even remember. The fact that this got a remake at all shocked me. IT looking this good surpassed my expectations though It's design changes may have made the game a little too easy from the looks of it.

I wish this company would keep their filthy hands of great games. All they do is making shit of it -_- .. This game just pisses me off. Talk about a complete misunderstanding of the original game.

+Zeithri i don't get it... it's a really awesome remake, the game looks gorgeous... the part that i really love is the fact they've remade the music also! :'d... i mean, target earth/leynos 1 it's a classic and this remake brought it back to life... why do you think that the remake it's a crappy game? :S

Nimlouth Sindorei Unnecessary liberties with the story, adding units from Valken that appears in Leynos, and a pointless sacrifice on the final stage for some needless drama. I'll stay with the original, the far superior game.

Zeithri lol that's true, it is like bethesda making Fallout 3 wich doesn't look or feels like a Fallout game, it's just TES with guns and radiation... in general people really hates things they like to get modified on the wrong way...
