Mate Im so sorry thats happened to you. There are so many to$$ers like that about these days. Ive come close to blows with people like that a few times. I know quite a few photographers and videographers who have been assaulted in this manner. It really is not acceptable. And yes all the people who think everyone in Whitby is lovely and friendly, well, most are fine, but there really are some unpleasant people about too. Keep going mate, dont be put off.

Scaring the seagulls unreal as long your insured I can't see no problem why you can't fly your drone but beware there is privacy regulations and you can join the bmfa and thay will give you all the dos and donts and thay have the insurances info to .I think the person who stated to you is right about the protection of seagulls but as far as I know that is for people not to feed them . But I'm sure there is a protection to not disturb them during matting season . But as long as you have permission from the local authority I see no problem . But please don't let this incident get to you because their is idiots in whitby who think bullying like that is the only way to sort things out sadly. If this happens again get the police simple as that .

I love them to bits to be fare bit when I've got a sarnie in my fist I'm well aware that at any given second I could be accosted by the feathery demons! Join the bmfa they give you the dos and donts and insurance for drones . With local knowledge seagulls are protected by not to feed them and not to disturb them especially during egg laying time march to august i think But to make sure get intouch with the police or scarborough council im sure thay will have the information for you to be able to continue filming with a drone . But to be insulted over you useing your drone is ridiculous I hope your ok and keep filming our beautiful town you and your Mrs m make me laugh but give a honest opinions over each pups and restaurants. This is great for locals and tourists so keep up the good work . But please if this happens again goto the police station top of bobbies bank as if you didunt know that 😂❤

Hope your OK mate but I know you won't let the Gob Shi_ _s get you down ,there out there mate iam 64 now myself and I know what you mean my head still thinks iam 25 😂😂😂 mind you we were in a small souvenir shop in North Wales and a fella 😅was walking around the shop and I caught him touching a young girls hair as she walked past at first I thought she was with him but o no then I wached him make his way towards my 4 year old granddaughter so I just wached him and he did the same thing so I walked up behind him and stroked the back of his head he jumped about 3ft in the air and shouted what do you think your doing so I told him followed by as soon as you walk out of this shop mate iam am gonna give you the hiding of your life and theres nothing you can do about it but he then phoned the local plod think he had it on speed dial,what he didn't know was I filmed him doing it and I told the family of the first kid what he had done that went well so the plod turned up knew him by name then asked me what I said so I told them the truth plus I said look at this footage wich he did then took him outside put him in the car so I couldn't hear anything and he said he was known to them and I said he's a peedo isn't he no answer they said he hasn't done enough to charge him so off they went so I told the shop keeper showed him the footage then went to the local 4 pubs showed the lads in the Bar erea the footage and they didn't know about him but they did recognise him and there had been rumours about him apparently he was arrested and got a warning for standing next to a playground so he must be on a register he got barred from all 4 pubs and the word was out in the village job done life ruined in that place plus we got our meal free and we got sent a few pints off the lads in the bar so the weirdo's are alive and kicking in our streets mate so be careful, and to every parentt and Grandparent keep your eyes on your kids and dont let them out of your sight YNWA😊
