I spectated Global 1 Lancelot and he is INSANE!

What I see that this Lancelot player is very patient. He waited for targets to dash on to maximize his 2nd skill damage. There's also belief in his teammates to be able to hold out on their own when he decides not to do gank in the early-mid game.

You could call it belief in teammates but in most cases, it's just knowing the current best course of action in a given situation. You can't look for kills while trying to take turtle or your buffs, sometimes, you also have to decide to take tower over joining clash. You also have to be able to assess whether the clash is winnable. It's like chess. You could make a lot of moves but what is really the best one to make?

dave war axe is good item for farming phy pen and hp. try it. if youre still hesitant, i can understand youre reasoning cuz math(immediate burst and because of hepta or hunter strike build path, prioritizing war axe does set you back a bit but pro players have proven that war axe is a good investment for the mid game, just play safely in early), i suggest buying fury hammer/12 pen item, and then build war axe, turn the fury hammer into hunter strike or hepta(preferably hunter strike cuz cd redux) after building war axe.

Lancelot’s build is really flexible. Apart from this build used by the guy in the video, there’s a heptaseas build, windtalker build and lastly, a build that has Hunter strike. All these builds are usable depending on the enemies.

Blue buff and killing spree actually eliminated the need for spell vamp in Lance, since Lance is usually focused on taking down squishy backliners and then retreating. I still use bloodlust axe if I play sidelane Lance sometimes (used to play lots before revamp, after revamp I stick to jungle Lance)

He is a good player, he deserves his global spot....but I am going to point out the elephant in the room, Lance is so broken and should be perma-baned, I have rarely seen a bad Lancelot player, maybe they are all global and I'm just unlucky when I solo que.
